I was able to resolve the issue by contacting my theme’s support and they updated the theme to a new version.
Try contacting you theme support, I believe this is where the problem lies, and not with EDD.

    Breraks my check out page

Since I updated to Woocommerce 3.1.0 customers having problems checking out as a guest. After the imput, the billing and card information then hit the process order button, the page gets a white overlay and a black spinning ball appears. The “order completes” never comes, and the customer never gets the email containing the download link. On the other hand, the customer is charged and Woocommers records the transaction. All my other pluglings are up to date and there are not error messages anywhere in woocommerce setting or in the other apps. Below is my system status.

This Praveen guy was the same one working on my issue, and he wasn’t helpful at all. I notice his last response on the thread was over 2 days ago, unbelieve ?? I hope you all can get some real help soon.

Sorry, you’re the info wasn’t helpful. It’s unbelieve how slow Woocommerce is on getting back to ticket requests.

Hey just curious, what version of Woocommerce, Paypal Powered by Braintree, and Werdpress are you running? Can you post that here? Also, have you tried disconnecting Braintree then reconnecting?

I am changing my review of the plugin from 1 star to 5 as the plugin was never the problem, but the incompetent techs at Woocommerce.

Here’s how I resolved my issue and sad to say Woocommerce was of zero help in this process, Paypal support helped me resolve it.

Obviously, make sure all your plugins, Woocommerce, and WordPress running the latest versions.
If the error message you’re receiving is 92201 or 92203, then it’s a Dynamic Descriptor issue. Here is the fix:

    1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard
    2. Woocommerce settings and click the checkout tab
    3. click Braintree (credit card)
    4. Scroll down to Dynamic Descriptors and make sure those fields are blank
So the Name, Phone, and URL field MUST BE blank, if you have anything in those fields, erase them then click save and that’s it.

It took me 7 days of unnecessary back and forth with lame ass woo ninjas and they gave me bad information about filling out this section, don’t listen to them. Hopefully, this resolves your situation.

Same Here… I submitted a ticket 4 days now as mine is rejecting every card saying there’s an error. I got a response from of their “woo Ninja” two days now asking for login info for the temporary user account so they can take a look.

Two god damn days and apparently they still can’t fix the issue. Woocommerce has the slowest tech service I’ve every encountered, it’s like living in the 1990s. Just horrible, but I’m still waiting.

I’m actually experiencing the same issue seeing the error message “An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment.”

What’s up with this??? I have been struggling with this for the past 24 hours.
And honestly, i’m not thrilled with Woocommerce customer ticket service, its horrible… I submitted a ticket 24 hours ago and still, no one has gotten back to me. Is it so hard to set up a live chat service instead? The ticket thing is annoying.

I really hope someone can find a way to resolve this as I’ve checked everything I know, all my plugins are up to date, all the correct settings are enabled etc…

My patience is pretty short right now, Need help Please!!!
