I have resolved the problem I was having, it seems Raindrops was not the real problem, the site php was running at version 5.4 instead of 7.0. I have updated that, and the theme seeme to be back to normal.

I shaould have added that the preview in the “Customize Theme” section on WP shows the template as it should be, and on actual website, some CSS styles do not show.

This is what I am told might be the problem according to the tech guy who looked at it for me :
“Tell the developer that new code is missing “custom fields style for loop pages” and that’s why some of the styles are not showing on the frontpage of the website. Here is the screenshot, selected is what’s missing.”

Sorry that should hace said “failed to load content css”

Hi I have the raindrops theme to my site, and I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress two days ago (late I know) as a result a lot of the formatting changed, and whenever I try to post I get the “ccs failed to load” error message and I am only able to work in the left hand side of the posting screen.

I have emptied my cache a couple of times, as recommended here, but that has not resolved the problem.

The site is now much slower loading than it used to be.
