In reply to: How to ask moderator a questionGot it and noted. Thanks SO much.
Final UPDATE: I figured out how to correct the error, though I did not spend the time to figure out the root cause. Error was caused by some change made to the tickets.php file in version 4.0.3 (possibly done in 4.0.0, but I didn’t test this).
Copied the tickets.php file from version 4.0.3 to our child theme folder: eventprime/events/single-event/ (and removed tickets.php from version 3.5.3 from that same folder) and changed the wording in line 55 to our liking (original was ‘Free’, changed this to ‘Price: Suggested $5 Donation’.
Hope that all makes sense.
Will leave this thread open for you to change it to “resolved”.
Thank you,
KimUPDATE: The error only happens on events that have a ticket price other than zero.
Again – the error appears only on single event pages.
Not sure what you mean by custom template, but we have customized one file, as follows:
Filename: tickets.php
Changed line 59 (under: “ticket_price_range”) to read:
“esc_html_e( ‘PRICE: $5 Suggested Donation at the door’, ‘eventprime-event-calendar-management’ );”I don’t know what you mean by “customization code”. Do you mean “Additional CSS”? If so, then, yes, we have EventPrime related Additional CSS within the Theme Customizer. HOWEVER, when this EventPrime Additional CSS is deleted, we get the same issues and the same error as seen in the previous screenshot.
FYI, here is the link again to that screenshot: https://ibb.co/SRQRpGp
Thank you,
-KimWe are not using any Eventprime extensions.
version 4.0.3.1 still yields broken header and error on page.

I will test this within 24 hours from now and will reply with results.
Please leave this support ticket open until then. Thank you
Thank you, and please leave this ticket marked as “unresolved” until the next release AND until we are given time to test after that release (at least 48 hours after the release) for our team’s statistics and information.
We look forward to the next release.
Thank you,
KimAs I stated, the “em_events” shortcode DOES exist on the page, “-Event Details”. Again, the page “-Event Details” contains the shortcode “em_events”.
Therefore, “Events Page” in settings is correctly assigned as “-Event Details”.
Finally, it might be worth me noting again that everything worked as expected -with the same settings, pages and events- prior to the version 4 updates. We are currently running 3.5.3 with everything, including the single event pages, working as expected.
Thank you,
KimI do not understand your answer. Also – I have once more marked this issue as “unresolved”.
- Each single event page is created automatically by EventPrime when an event is created – is it not??
- The problem I am having is with the SINGLE EVENT pages, NOT the event calendar listing.
- “em_events”, from your own documentation, “will render the events calendar on the frontend”. Our calendar is rendering correctly. Rendering the calendar is not the problem. The single event page is the problem.
* FYI: The “em_events” shortcode is properly placed on two pages where our event calendar resides but, again, the event calendar is not the problem. The single event page is the problem.
* The page “-Event Details” was created by eventprime, not us. We do not use this page BUT it is a working page and contains the shortcode “em_events”.
Thank you,
Kim- This reply was modified 4 months, 3 weeks ago by wardencenter. Reason: span tags were showing
All page associations appear to be correctly designated.
See screen shots, FYI:

https://ibb.co/3TZpNWK
https://ibb.co/whk2r51I can verify that version 4.0.2 breaks the single event page. When you click to see EVENT details, you’re taken to the venue details page and NOT the single event page.

I have put the status back to “unresloved”
Thank you,
Kim- This reply was modified 4 months, 3 weeks ago by wardencenter. Reason: clarifiction
Our theme DOES use a header.php and footer.php. We are using Blocksy.
Because of this, and to make sure you see this info, I have changed the topic to “unresolved”.
Thank you.
Additional, and clarified, information:
All items are on the SINGLE EVENT PAGE- Version 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 “break” the site header.
- The organizer shows as “owner” above the featured image.
- The CREATION date of the event (NOT the actual event date) shows above the featured image.
- There is now a large gap between the featured image and the event date and description.
Screenshots can be found here:

https://imgbb.com/Jk5tvsy (Version 4.0.0 & 4.0.1)Please advise when these issues will be fixed.
Many thanks -Kim
I sincerely apologize, though I’m sorry to see my post with issue the details and screenshots has been deleted. I tried to edit this original post with better details and screenshots, but by the time I was finished, the topic was no longer editable.
I made another post because: We like this plugin, but the plugin’s support usually replies with either a “we didn’t change anything” or “works for us” type answer, and then marks the issue as resolved – when it isn’t – which is exactly what happened again. So, when they replied to this original post with a “we didn’t change anything” type answer, I replied and marked this original one as not resolved. Hope that makes sense and I really do apologize.
I will update this post and see if they reply – though I’ve never known them to reply to something they’ve marked as resolved…
Sincerely and respectfully,
Kim
