I will take a look at that, then. Considering that the SimpleModal Login was the one that disappearing, I suspect that is the issue, though I have reinstalled both and not run into any issues as of yet. I will continue to test for other issues and post my findings here.

It seemed like it took at least a couple hours for it to break last time since I left it overnight and came back to the error this morning. More to come…

    Thanks!

Ok, I do see the compatibility info and I have the latest version of wordpress so perhaps that is the issue. But these confuse me…

    SimpleModal Plugin
    Requires: 2.5.0 or higher
    Compatible up to: 3.4.2

    Member Access
    Requires: 3.3 or higher
    Compatible up to: 3.3.2

So it requires a higher version than it’s compatible up to? Am I interpreting that incorrectly? Thanks.

For the record, I have changed the status of the aforementioned thread to resolved as I do not think it’s a blankslate specific issue, and that’s the subforum where that thread resided. Please disregard the above comment and reply to this thread as it provides much more information about my process and concerns. Thank you.

Ok – so after skimming around a bit more I figured out that it uses the basic WP member registration. This perfect as I don’t need anything more complex than that.

My next questions is: I am also using the login modal plugin to create a login pop-up with page redirect rather than sending users to
    wp-login.php…

Fortunately, after a successful login, it does send users to the page they were attempting to access before being asked to login, however if there is a way to connect these two plugins so that the member-access page redirects the users to the login pop-up, rather than the login page.

    All help is appreciated, thanks!
