This plugin simply styles your RSS feed, it does not add anything else. You can use this plugin with another plugin that adds featured images.

A possibility is that you’re using a plugin that is inferring with this plugin? Are you using any other RSS related plugins? Or, have you modified any PHP files in /wp-includes/ before?
