In reply to: Site Navigation categoriesThank you and apologies for the delay in replying too. Ill health forced downtime on this project.
I should have explained in greater detail – I’m using the Morning After theme, and want to simply link back to my home page via the sidebar navigation. However, that navigation only seems to allow for category items, not custom links. And using the category link in question (quite reasonably lol) serves up the category page which differs to the home page itself.
Unless I am missing something!? Which is not impossible ??

My problem with Custom Menus is that in Morning After they appear in the menu across the top of the page which I do not want – I just want the right sidebar, and the custom menu does not get implemented there.
I don’t think the Permalinks suggestion is applicable for my issue (my fault, I was not specific) as the link I want to put on the sidebar is simply back to the domain name i.e. a hardcoded URL.
If you have any other thoughts I’d be most grateful!

In reply to: Hard code link in my site navigation?Hi
thanks for the suggestion. But I already did that, and it shows up as a custom link on the Appearance > Menu screen in the admin – i.e. all seems well, but it does not appear on the site – only the categories get listed there…
very frustrating!
