Nextscripts: thanks so much for your support reply with specific instructions on setting up the LinkedIn API. It works perfectly now!
This plugin is fantastic – thanks so much! It’s made posting to Twitter and Facebook a breeze. But I’m confused about the LinkedIn API. Is the API for LinkedIn available now or is it yet to come? I have been trying to figure out how to set it up and the LinkedIn instructions or confusing – I am not well acquainted with the details of making APIs work. If its supposed to work now, I’d appreciate any help and direction. The LinkedIn page for adding an application does not let me complete the form, so I must be missing something.

In reply to: Bug in 3.2.1, admin drop down menus disabled agaaaaainThis IS a WordPress problem. I have two sites so far this has hapened to neither of which I had taken any action on within the timeframe that these menus quit working. One site I simply deleted all the menu items in the WordPress menus section, and allowed the normal page heirarchy to do the job, like in pre 3.x versions. Works fine. For the other, much larger site, I tried the Use Google Libraries, and it did not work. WordPress, you need to fix this problem ASAP. I don’t have time for this.

In reply to: Category not foundI don’t even have a “Save” button on my Category dashboard! How am I supposed to save a new category? All it has is a “Connect to WordPress/com” button, forcing me to use Jetpack. Besides, what if I don’t want to use Jetpack?

In reply to: Menu feature – drag and drop is not workingNevermind – in my case it’s an offending plugin: Social Discussions by LinksAlpha. Deactivate it, and the menus work again.

In reply to: Menu feature – drag and drop is not workingI’m confused by these posts – is this really a theme-related issue, or a plug-in issue? Upgrading to 3.0.4 did not fix the problem. Is it a java script issue that can be caused by any theme or plug-in using java script? If theme, where do I find the code indicated by cxd? I am not php-savvy.

In reply to: Atahualpa: Put Thumbnail Image in Category PagesThat’s just what I needed too. I had successfully added an image to a single category by simply inserting a line of HTML using <img>. With the latest WP udpate the image no longer displays. When I installed this plugin, and added the image in the category, the image still does not appear. Anyone know what WordPress did to disable this, and how to get around it?

In reply to: links categories are missing in WP 2.8I see now that you just changed the name from “Links” to “Bookmarks”. Still wondering about drag-and-drop widgets though…

In reply to: links categories are missing in WP 2.8I’m still lost – I upgraded too, and can’t figure out how to get the links box that was displaying in the sidebar before to display now. Plus, I thought 2.8 was supposed to allow drag-and-drop widgets, but that doesn’t happen.
This may not apply – I am using Register-Plus. You might try it tho. For Register-Plus, it seems to overwrite automatically. Make sure you have turned on registration first: under Settings: General: check box for “Membership” to select “Anyone can Register”. Having done that, I suspect it will work. Did for me, and I’m a newbie and hardly know what I am doing
