Welp, I can’t provide a solution here… after more than a week of dealing with Printful’s abysmal support, I realized it would be far more efficient to delete my entire WordPress installation, database, and my Printful store, and start over. I’m in the process of manually reloading 300 products. Sending a support email and never getting a same-day reply was infuriating. The final straw was when one of their techs told me in an online chat that no one, NOT EVEN HIS BOSS, had a phone number for their INTERNAL IT team, they could only be contacted via email and I would probably not hear back from them today, so apparently their IT team does not utilize telephone technology.
I find it astonishing that a company the size of Printful, with literally thousands of businesses relying on them, doesn’t have phone support. I bet if their computer systems went down, a once-a-day support email that isn’t particularly helpful over the course of ten days would not be satisfactory for them.
So, if you use the Printful plugin, take frequent backups once you get it working that you can use to get yourself back online if you get the same support I got.
Update: This issue was caused by the fact that I somehow had 2 stores at Printful.com. Not sure how that happened, but deleting the extraneous store and creating new API keys removed the shipping error. Issue is now resolved except for a message in Printful status that says, “Printful needs access to your WooCommerce API for the integration to work – otherwise we can’t sync your store, push or pull your products etc.”
Will report back once I have figgered this out…
Forgot to add that under WooCommerce Logs, an error occurred on Monday, but it’s Jetpack, so seemingly unrelated…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Show only relevant color variationsSo installed Code Snippets and Sean’s code, set it to 150 and the results were not what I hoped… the results are “more accurate”, but I’m still showing colors that are unavailable for various styles, with some other colors “grayed out” with a red X through them as unavailable… not what I was hoping for. I was hoping ONLY available colors would be displayed.
Welp, so far this is a smoking trainwreck… I had 3 products put in the system to build out, but nothing is right. Before I blame the software, I’m gonna see if this is so mucked up because of my inexperience… gonna delete all products and start over….
I’ve seen there are “customization plugins” that might solve this for me… anyone have a recommendation?
Thank you Sean and Amir… I’m gonna read/watch some tutorials and start over. I may repost in a day or two…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Show only relevant color variationsOK, that makes sense to me… coding is not my thing, but I forced myself to make php changes many years ago…
To be clear, I add that code snippet to the functions.php file… anywhere in particular?
Also, the link Sean provided says it will slow the site down… is it severe? I know that’s a relative question, but I don’t want people abandoning the site because it drags along… do I just need to “try it and see”…?
