When I pasted it via my host’s files, it didn’t work. But I just pasted it via a Custom CSS plugin, and it worked. Not sure why it didn’t work the first time…?

That didn’t work for me when I added it via my host’s file directory, so then I tried adding it to the custom CSS for the specific page (via a plugin), and it worked. Thank you!

Still doesn’t work for me. Doesn’t work for the full-length widget either. Maybe I have a plugin/setting on my site that’s preventing it.

Right now, “Stripe checkout” is disabled because disabling it brings up the credit card info input fields automatically, bypassing the whole “empty description box” thing. Which works, I guess. But I kind of like the popup that comes with enabling Stripe checkout where you input your credit card info, but it leaves me with the empty description box, so I’ve disabled it. I can just keep it disabled, not a big deal. I was just wondering if there was an easy fix to the empty description box. If not, then we can resolve this issue and not use anymore of your time.

Yes, that works when I unset the description field for the other payment methods (PayPal, Bitcoin), but when I do that for the credit card payment option (Stripe), the box/field still shows up underneath, and it’s empty. How do I remove the empty box/field? Thank you for your help.

I figured out what was wrong. The theme that I was using at the time(First Mag Pro, I’ve since changed themes) made it so that the homepage was created as a widget. I had forgotten this, so when I tried to update an actual page that I had assigned as my homepage, it wouldn’t do anything because my homepage was actually a widget in the widgets area. Live and learn.

I may have figured it out. I deactivated all of my plugins, then went into the Customizer and set my logo. Then I reactivated my plugins a few at a time to see if one was causing the issue, but by the time I reactivated all of them, there didn’t seem to be an issue anymore. Let’s hope it stays fixed!

Thanks for your reply. As to your question, I’m not entirely sure, but I want to say it was working before.

The main reason I’m trying to add a header logo is because I want my site title to appear in all caps on the site itself but I don’t want it to appear in all caps everywhere else (like in emails, in the browser tab, etc).

I was able to remove the bullets with the following CSS:

.entry ul li,
.entry ol ul li { list-style: none; }
