In reply to: [Sundance] Video resize in carousel brokenHello Kathryn, I really appreciate you following this up, and what you’ve outlined is great to hear.
Is there any way I could incorporate this change at my site in the meantime, until the permanent fix is put in place?
I’m very keen to resolve this issue so I can move forward with a redesign using Sundance as its basis. Thanks.

In reply to: [Sundance] Video resize in carousel brokenThanks Kathryn, I take it you’ve been able to reproduce the problem. Great to hear that the developers will be taking a look. I have seen posts on the web about resizing problems with Flexslider. Seems like it might be to do with the java code and when the sizing event is fired for the slider contents, though I’m afraid I have zero literacy in this field.
In any case, keen for a resolution and thanks so much for giving this your attention.

In reply to: [Sundance] Video resize in carousel brokenHelo Kathryn, thanks for the response.
I wasn’t referring to ‘resizing in the middle of moving from one slider screen to the next’. Here are the steps that reveal the problem:
1) Navigate to the theme demo and allow it to load fully. Navigate through a few of the slides, if you like, to confirm they have loaded and are displaying correctly.
2) With any of the slides displayed, resize the browser window (make it smaller) to a sufficient extent that the video resizes. Don’t do this during a navigation – just when the slide is stationary.
3) Now, using the arrows, navigate to another slide. I think you will find that some or all of the other videos no longer display properly, appearing as a tiny thumbnail-like blotch.
It may be helpful for you to try this at my own site where the slider is loading a larger number of videos: https://www.garagenight.tv/ I’ve not finished working on this redesign but will leave the theme active so that you can check
It is commonplace for someone to resize their browser window when navigating around a site, so I feel this is a significant problem. I’m guessing that the theme is scaling the videos at a certain size in the background – according to the browser window size at first load – but if the browser window is resized, it only rescales the video that is currently displayed, so the sizing gets messed up.
I have tried this across various browsers, on Mac, PC and mobile, and found the same problem on each occasion.
