The display of images (or other media) depends on how they are added to the activity. Activities can be generated through various methods, and if the activity does not include the og:image tag (which specifies the image for sharing), the plugin cannot display or share it.

If your activity does include the og:image tag, the image will be displayed correctly during sharing. We recommend verifying how your activities are generated and ensuring the necessary metadata (like og:image) is included.

If you need assistance in checking or configuring this, feel free to provide more details about how your activities are created. Our support team will be happy to help troubleshoot further.

We are creating a plugin for general use, so feel free to customize it according to your specific needs based on what we have already developed.

If you are using BuddyPress member blog or a similar plugin, you will need custom development to add a blog post form on that section tab.

@user4forum We plan to update our BuddyPress template override in the BuddyX theme as soon as BP 12.0 becomes available.

You can find the template stucture here and based on your requirement they can be overriden inside child theme

the issue is not the plugin related,
OG:image what you get from that specific site is not png or jpg
it’s like this, which can be not added as an attachment in WordPress

It’s a simple plugin that works for all images and can be added as an attachment in wp; for custom work, you should hire a developer who can convert image objects from URL to mine type to save as attachments.

@gorbondanko it is not supposed to work with buddy boss as they already have an inbuilt feature for it. With BuddyPress, it works as expected.

@marbs please try to deactivate all your plugin except BuddyPress and BuddyX theme and test the pages again.
We are also using cloudways for our test site with DigitalOcean server, not able to replicate such issues.
