Yes, I have it set to manual assignment, but I fail to see how this particular setting relates to triggering the email event (the setting only describes how ranks are assigned).
As I stated above, when I manually set/change a user’s rank, it does not trigger the related email notification event. What else am I missing, or does the plugin not do this?

2nd Update: This is actually NOT fixed. When I apply multiple filters with the NOT EQUAL, operator, it doesn’t work when there’s more than one Advanced Filter. It does appear to work with EQUAL, at least for HTTP Response Codes.

Apologies — this was apparently fixed in the latest update which I did not load at the time.
Would you please consider making the Live Traffic view customizable: Add/remove columns (such as adding username, removing hostname, etc.) , adjust font size smaller, column width, etc.? Why bother having the “eye” button if clicking anywhere on the entry expands it anyway?
Thank you.

In reply to: [WP 2FA - Two-factor authentication for WordPress] WP 2FA not working anymoreSorry, no, this is too frustrating.
Now it’s reporting “Not required and not configured” for users even though the settings are CLEARLY showing 2FA is immediately required. I can’t stand it anymore, so I’ve removed this plugin.
Tell me how to clear out all the data WP2FA has saved in my database, please. Is it all the meta_keys beginning with “wp_2fa” only, or is there more?
Thank you.

In reply to: [WP 2FA - Two-factor authentication for WordPress] WP 2FA not working anymoreLogging WOULD help. It should log when the user is redirected to 2FA setup. It should log when an email/OTP is sent or requested. It should log The type of 2FA the users selects. It should log any action the plugin or the user takes which affects the plugin.
There is DEFINITELY something wrong because the “Required but not configured” result is CONSTANTLY happening, and I do NOT see the new users visiting my posts. With no troubleshooting features, it is impossible to see where the failure is happening.
Another problem: On the 2FA Policies page, what is the difference between “Do you want to redirect the user to a specific page after completing the 2FA setup wizard?
Redirect users after 2FA setup to” and “Specify the page where you want to redirect your users to after they complete the 2FA setup. This will override the global redirect setting. Redirect users after 2FA setup”??? These sound like two of the exact same settings. This should ALSO be included in logging!Sorry, this plugin is getting uninstalled. Such a pain that a security plugin like this can just randomly stop functioning properly and not have any method of debugging.

In reply to: [WP 2FA - Two-factor authentication for WordPress] WP 2FA not working anymoreI have tried to contact all of them, but nobody has responded with any input yet. It’s VERY aggravating and it’s probably causing me a loss of income. There are NO troubleshooting logs for WP 2FA to review. I will have to remove WP 2FA and use another plugin since this doesn’t seem to be going away.
I first thought it was spam bots, but they’re all different email domains, 90% of them are valid (no NDRs), and the IP addresses are all unique. I can see users making it past the registration page, but I can’t see why they aren’t returning with the OTP, or if they’re even opening the message.

In reply to: [Limit Login Attempts] Rate limiting? This issue is not resolved.
To test: Edit a page that has a hundred or more thumbnails loading into a gallery block.
That’s sorta makes ranks useless, then. What good are ranks if they can’t affect benefits for the users? Badges already mark a status or achievement, ranks should do something more.
1) Rank status should be deeply incorporated into every sell, hide and show function, and even offer discount options for selling content.
2) Ranks should have an ORDER assigned because, well, they are RANKS. Titles aren’t enough, each one should have a unique ordinal value that can be arranged by the admin.
3) The rank ORDER should play a role with the shortcodes: Higher ranks should be able to include lower (or higher) ranks, so (for example) any function that allows the second-highest rank to access something could also allow the third and fourth ranks to access it.
NOTE: So much of the online documentation is either out-of-date or has errors in it. Someone should spend some time going through each section and updating it to keep up with newer releases.
Thank you for your time.

No, cannot confirm, but I noticed many users had this status even after logging in and accessing my content. They should not be able to do this without configuring 2FA. I am using 2.1, but I cannot identify when it was upgraded. Is there a log to see?
I set it to not require 2FA, then I set it back again, it seems to have relieved the issue, though. I will keep an eye on it closely for a few more days and report any new issues.

In reply to: [Limit Login Attempts] Rename Login URL (not working)The question I have is where does this option change the setting in WP? Is there a file or database I can check to see if this setting is being modified on my site? Thank you.
Thanks, I’ll just move on to another plugin. This is too much work for a feature that should be normal.
The link you provided has these issues:
1) The first example is incorrect, or at least so I believe. If I were a programmer, I probably wouldn’t be looking for plugins like this, but I’m not. However, the example writes “only enable the plugin if the page being loaded has the ID 123” but the code has $id as 1773. Not a great start.
2) For specific classes, it doesn’t explain all the choices for object in the array (posts, gallery,… but what else can be put here? page or pages? forms? objects from other plugins?) , nor does it make it clear if the ones written in the example code are being DISABLED or ENABLED for action. When I tried the code and put “.page” as the only object, it turned it off for all my POSTS.
3) If this coding works, then why not include the filters in the original plugin and have settings the users can check or uncheck for classes, or edit a list of IDs? I don’t get why you’re leaving this on the end-user to implement.
4) Which settings should be used for Code Snippet? Priority? Run snippet everywhere?
