In reply to: [raindrops] Full Width Reduced to 60% After UpdateHi, Nobita,
Thank you for being so thorough and helpful. The Hot fix does not work for me, because I encountered the following problems after adding`.page-template-page-templatesfull-width-php #container{
width:100%;
}`
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home3/wccesq/public_html/wp-content/themes/raindrops-child/functions.php:2) in /home3/wccesq/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121Therefore, I did not try the Code for php.
Should I do anything now? Or should I just wait for the next update?
I just found out that for the time being, I can use “fluid” mode. I prefer the “950 pix fix” mode, because the “fluid” mode results in uneven photo layouts, and the “950px fix” mode automatically reduces all photos bigger than 950 pix to 950 pix, making those photos look more uniformed.
Many thanks, Nabita,
Ken

In reply to: [raindrops] Full Width Reduced to 60% After UpdateI added to the last line, but it did not work, excepting making the Navication Bar extremely big.
Question: I had no problems getting the full width using 950px fix. But, after the most recent update, (i) The full width is not working properly, and (ii) the mobile screens are off and different, forcing me to usde Twenty-Fouyrteen for my mobile purposes.
Please check and help. Thanks,

In reply to: [raindrops] Full Width Reduced to 60% After UpdateNobita, I think the Full-Width Template is not functioning properly. The Default Template is fine; I set Current Issues, Law, Q&A and Membership in Default Templalate for your reference. Thanks,
Ken

In reply to: [raindrops] Full Width Reduced to 60% After UpdateI deactivated W3 Total cache and installed Quick Cache. But the result is still the same–only a half width.
I dont understand IE8.

In reply to: [raindrops] Full Width Reduced to 60% After UpdateHi, Nobita,
I have been using 950px fix. But adter updating 2 day ago the most recent version (must be 1.221), all my full-width pages are shrunk to about 60%. Here is my website. Many thanks, in advance, KenForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [NewsFrame] Sticky Menu and Scroll to Top ButtonDear Mr. Jenkins,
Thank you very much for taking the time and efforts to address my concerns.
I totally agree with you that a Scroll-to-Top feature will be sufficient to solve the problems. If NF is going to implement such feature, I will probably wait instead of jumping to a plug-in.
I have set up a child theme for css and php to avoid potential conflicts with the parent updates.
Also, may I remind that the title font for NF mobile edition should be reduced to, e.g., Twenty-Fourteen,making NF a much more well-rounded theme.
Since my web is still under construction, I may encounter other issues in the near future. If you like, I may venture to share my under-construction web with you and see how we make your theme even better than many current mainstream media publications.
I have every faith in your theme, as I have studied and compared with no less than 50 themes, before settling on your theme for my humble, emerging web.
Fondly indebted,
Ken

In reply to: [raindrops] Sliding Headers and Search ToggleWorked. Thank you very much.

In reply to: [raindrops] Sliding Headers and Search ToggleHi, nobita,
I am back with renewed courage.
For the Sliding Header, I installed the plugin. Do I add the php code to the parent or my child functions.php? If to the parent, then add to the first line of parent functions.php?
I want to be more careful before plunging in another adventure.
Please advise. Thanks,
Ken

In reply to: [raindrops] Sliding Headers and Search ToggleHi, nobita,
Please disregard all prior emails about recent problems; I have managed to restore to the good state right before corruptions.
I need to be more careful, when testing the new 2 receipes for Search and Sliding Headers.
Many THANKS, AND SORRY,

In reply to: [raindrops] Sliding Headers and Search ToggleHi, nobita,
I reteted and discover the problem came from adding:
<p id="page-top" style="position:fixed;right:3px;bottom:0"><a href="#"><img src="https://tenman.info/labo/snip/wp-content/themes/raindrops/images/previous.png" style="-webkit-transform:rotate( 90deg );-moz-transform:rotate( 90deg );-ms-transform:rotate( 90deg );transform:rotate( 90deg );" alt="page top link" /></a></p>
to the first line of Parent php Theme Function. Any solution?
Thanks,
Ken
