    Hi!

    Thank you for using WooCommerce Product Table PRO and writing in with your query. Yes, I received your support email but there seems to be some confusion here because I have very much replied to your email. We have exchanged a couple of emails after your first message and my last reply was on 13th November, 2024. Maybe it went to spam? I tested the two plugins together at my end and found it was not causing any issues on my test site so I requested some further clarity. Please check your email and reply back and I will be happy to help resolve this issue for you asap.

    Hi Jan,

    Thank you for using WooCommerce Product Table Lite on your site. You said the button element has stopped appearing in your product tables all of a sudden. I have not seen this issue come up in testing or reported by any of the other thousands of users of the plugin so I don’t think the issue is with the plugin itself. Something else has likely changed on your site and that is hindering the product table plugin’s ability to print the button as before.

    I will be happy to help you resolve this issue. Please go to the plugin’s support page and follow the ‘Debugging steps’ section to find out what is conflicting with the product table. Happy to answer any further questions on this topic.

    You mentioned that you were not able to login to your site with the plugin activated on it. This is very strange because we have not noticed such an issue in our testing and nor have any of the other users of the plugin reported any problem logging into their site with the product table plugin active.

    I am pretty certain this issue is happening due to a conflict between the product table plugin and some other module on your site (theme / plugin / custom code) or between the plugin and the hosting environment.

    From the outside it is not possible to tell exactly what is causing the problem but we could help with further testing at your end. Feel free to get in touch via the support form if you would like us to help with this.

    Hi,

    Thank you for using WooCommerce Product Table Lite. I was unfamiliar with the error message that you referenced so I looked it up online. Apparently it is related to this library.

    There is no reference to this code in the product table plugin itself. Could you please check with your web host or web developer if they have made any changes to the site environment related to above mentioned library that could be leading to the error messages on the site.

    I have re-tested the plugin with the7 theme and they seem to be working perfectly fine together at my end. Like I said no other users of the plugin have reported such a compatibility issue either, and the7 theme is certainly being used on the same site by other users of the product table plugin.

    So the problem you were facing does not seem to be due to a general incompatibility issue between the product table plugin and the7 theme. It could be due to a specific settings in the theme or due to another plugin on the site interrupting the plugin functionality. I will be happy to help look further into this issue on your site if you wish.

    For now I am closing this support topic as I have not heard back from you and to the best of my understanding the issue seems to be related to something else on the site, not a complete theme incompatibility.     Thank you for trying WooCommerce Product Table Lite! I am sorry to hear that you faced an issue while using the plugin but I will be happy to help.

    The plugin has been tested with The7 theme among many other popular themes with no known issues. In fact, several other users of the plugin are also using it alongside The7 theme currently (as well as the WP Bakery page editor). It could be that the plugin faced a conflict with another module on the site or some specific setting within the theme caused problem with the table’s functionality. But we can find out more on this and resolve the issue.

    Please follow the ‘debugging steps’ on the support page to find out which module on your site is conflicting with the plugin’s functionality and I will take it from there. You can also use the same support form to get in touch directly over email for plugin support.

    Hi,

    Thank you for using WooCommerce Product Table Lite and writing in with your query. I completely understand your concern on this. Recently a security bug was pointed out to wordpress plugin repo regarding the plugin and they temporarily took it down 2 days ago (Friday) and requested me to look into the matter.

    I provided a complete patch within a couple of hours and the latest version of the plugin v3.8.6 fully addresses the security issue and existing users of the plugin have been able to update the plugin as well with the security fix.

    I informed wordpress plugin support that the issue has been resolved at my end, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet. Possibly the weekend has caused a delay.

    In any case I am confident they will make the plugin available again on their platform. But hopefully soon, in order to avoid undue confusion and alarm for the plugin users.

    The security issue was minor in nature and very hard to find / exploit. But its exact details cannot be revealed right now as there are users of the plugin who haven’t updated to the latest version yet.

    Thank you for using WooCommerce Product Table PRO / Lite on your woocommerce store ??

    The product table plugin has been tested with dozens upon dozens of popular themes both premium and free and been used by customers with hundreds of other themes as well with no major issues with any popular themes. So you are free to go with the theme of your choice as long as it follows wordpress and woocommerce standards for compatibility. In case you find you are running into any issues with using the plugin on your chosen theme please feel free to write in again.
