I found my issue: On two sites that have the same theme and the same plugins, there was a conflict. On other sites without one or the other (either a different plugin or different theme) there was no conflict. Switching the theme or deactivating one or the other plugin did the trick.

Since installing WP 4.0, I’m having the same issue – I was just alerted to it by a very angry customer who was, understandably, irritated that I hadn’t responded to her.

I checked my logs and never saw a mail hit my server. Are you getting the green confirmation box? I am, which is why I checked the server first.

Yes. For those who have the same issue: It’s the theme, not the plugin.

It’s the theme. I switched to the default and the page immediately worked as it should, so it must be screwy (even though the developer said it wasn’t a coding issue on his end).

No, it’s not being run locally. It is on a physical server at a data center, but it it’s not a local box to me.

What are you running that generates that? I don’t see it.

1) Unchecked & Blank (customers must choose more than one product, so I don’t want to send them away from the page until they’re ready to check out).

Yes, on the page linked to above it is right after the “3”. It appears when you add something to the cart, use the back button when the page goes blank, then refresh the page.

Yes, I did everything in that tutorial. There is one difference, though: the shortcode button at the top of the tutorial has a slightly different format, while what I use is what is on the plugin settings itself “[wp_cart_button name=”Test Product” price=”29.95″]” Which should be used?

It’s only accessible through a direct link, as I have not yet turned this on since it doesn’t work yet.

There are no caching plugins installed. I have also tried this with all plugins deactivated and still had the issue. Plugins are: Akismet, Auto ThickBox Plus, Comprehensive Google Map Plugin, Contact From 7, EWWW Image Optimizer, Google XML Sitemaps, jQuery Updater, WordPress Importer and this shopping cart. Pretty straightforward stuff.
