Yeah, Themeco have a lot of issues with running on old outdated stuff but I bought an unlimited license years back. So I really got used to using them for all the sites I work on. As such, I’ve begrudgingly stuck with them.

Fun fact, they actually banned me from posting on their forums because I got tired of how bad they were and took it out on one of their guys. I do feel bad about that but they seem eager to tell people they’re dumb so I don’t feel too bad – lol.

Thank you again so much! I’m really excited to get this site going and that was the last technical glitch.

I have the exact same issue. I have 2 products that are sold through a partner and they’re the only ones that sync so I’ve added a special category to exclude them. No other products sync, I’ve rebuilt the connection to FB and still these two are the only ones which sync and FB won’t display them because I don’t have a checkout button on them (since they’re sold through a third party). None of my other products will sync and I can’t exclude these ones. This is like some kind of sick joke.

I have an old laptop with ubuntu installed but nothing else is set up so I’d need to do port everything over to it or at least set up a blank WP and install PDF2post on it. I can try that but it’s not ideal as that machine has a dead battery and can’t be moved from it’s spot high on a shelf where I had it rigged up to act as the network point for a non-network printer and a few extra TB storage boxes before I updated my setup.

Ampps runs Apache so I’m wondering if there isn’t a way to make it work as is. Of course I’d be happy for it to work on the Host Gator site that I ultimately want to post the converted PDF’s to so if you’ve got any ideas on what I need to do to get them to allow it to work that would be even better.

I do have poppler installed. It doesn’t seem to have made any difference.

I think I figured it out it’s mfing Jetpack. They’ve got the option to serve images from the server closest to the user and for some reason when you turn that off some of the images reappear meaning that they’re not serving them, Jetpack is breaking the site. So that’s where the conflict is. I’m turning that off. Screw Jetpack, the whole login from WP.com stuff screws up my users and now this. That has become an ever increasingly bad plugin.

The hero images are failing to load on my site as is the background image. It started to happen yesterday just after I sent an email to the 7k members of this website that a new site was on the way and redirected the domain name. Now the org’s board is asking me where the images went and I really don’t have an answer. I’ve even switched images and they don’t show. HELP!!!

No need to alert me. I’ve already begun to switch all of the sites I manage to other drag and drop front end editors but thank you for clearing that up and for changing it. I’m sure that others will appriciate it.

For anyone else who finds this frustrating they made the change in version 4.3 per their changelog:
row 137: Change: New columns and rows now have centered content.

So in the next to last update they decided to break basic design principals to try to force us to buy the premium version. As aligning content in columns is usually not centered they could have made centering it a premium feature but rather than do that the developers decided they’d break the functionality of their lite plugin as a means of forcing paid adoption.

I’m assuming a lot of people just walked away and found another plugin but I’d like them to know how incredibly dumb that idea is. It’s not how you build loyalty and it shows a disdain for your users. If you don’t want to offer a lite version don’t, nobody is forcing you to. Or offer a trial of your premium if you want to force adoption but don’t do something so stupid and ugly as to break basic design principals as a form of ransom because most people are going to go pick from one of the hundreds of other options.

I resolved it. I added .widgets_on_page li {list-style:none;background:none;} to the plugin’s css.

Edit: Since there was no ul or ol before the li the other css in there didn’t have any effect but adding the line with no ol or ul in there fixed it.

I have this same issue and trying to strip it out via my theme’s stylesheet isn’t working no matter what I do. There is a li, (without any ol or ul either) that shows up before the title and checking the box doesn’t get it to go away.

I’m going to go into the plugin’s source and fix it but please fix it for future updates otherwise when we go live if it shows up my client is going to be very unhappy. Thanks!

I played around, added min-height, height, etc. along with some bootstrap tricks and I got it to show the collapsed menu but not the menu items below that no matter what I set the height at. Also on screens wider than 920 when I mouse over and then mouse off the drop down doesn’t go away.

@omniafausta, how did you get it to work? What changes did you make?
I’ve got the same issue. The dropdown doesn’t work on touch devices and I’ve played with the code you posted but I’m still not getting it to work. Thanks!

Sorry for the radio-silence I’d been working on other projects and just got back to it today. I took a look at the server and saw they were running PHP in safe mode. I put a stop to that and it did install.

The paid vs. free stuff all makes sense, I was looking at a bunch of different tools (Membership 2 for example) so I might have crossed wires there. It looks like an amazing tool and just like what they’ll need.
