ok got my website back. Activated the static home page plugin and its fine but I would like a link in the top menu that says ‘blog’. There is the ‘last entries’ section on the sidebar but i would really like a blog link in my menu at the top, anyone know how to go about this?

Thanks man ur a lifesaver! The folders have been moved to example.com from example.com/wordpress. Now, should I delete the folder that is actually called wordpress, its empty now??

MKadmin I cant help you but I have the exact same problem and I am waiting on an answer. It happened when I made the wordpress address and blog address the same (in ‘options’ section), wordpress was formerly /wordpress at the end. I had install4fre team install WP for me 2 days ago and the guy said that

“Even though the actual WordPress files reside in a sub-directory, an
index.php file was put in your webroot, and the Options->General admin
page
Blog address (URI) was changed so that WordPress acts as your main
page.”

I think maybe its something to do with this. Did you change anything?

oops! i done what you said and changed them both to

https://www.buildyourlifetoorder.com

and took off the /wordpress and now its all gone wrong, click on the link to see what has happened. I cant get logged into my admin either.
