Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: Local host issuesHaving the same issue on a live site, I suspect this has to do with Templateer (addon for Artisteer, hence the tt_meta.php name (tt being Templateer)) i guess, but not 100% sure and the question is how to solve it.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Maintenance] Undefined methodI am having the same problem but even worse, when I disable the Pro version, the errors still remains then … which wasn’t the case when the free version only was activated. ??
I run PHP 5.2+ and this cannot be upgraded at this moment.Thanks for clearing that i totally overlooked that setting.

In reply to: [WPFront Notification Bar] Custom php content possible?Being able to add PHP in the near future would be great! ??
I understand, indeed I was fooled by that.
Suggestion: to put this cron job method in the instructions of the plugin as well.Thanks again! ??
Ah, sorry I didn’t understand at first, is also kind of uncommon to have this started by opening an xml file.
I will try what you suggested, thanks. ??So it will look simular to:
wget -q -O /dev/null “https://www.mydomain.com/sitemapindex.xml”Thanks for the pointer but unfortunately you don’t understand what I mean.
I would like to make a cron job (I know how to make cron jobs);
The cron job needs to activate bwp-google plugin so it will make a new sitemap;
So the cron job could be something like this (an example):
wget -q -O /dev/null “https://www.mydomain.com/somescript.php?action=makexmlsitemap”So the question is:
which script from the bwp google sitemap plugin should I put into the cron job, so that it will make the sitemap?Perhaps something like:
wget -q -O /dev/null “https://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/bwp-google-xml-sitemaps/bwp-simple-gxs-ms.php”Is the “bwp-simple-gxs-ms.php” script responsable for generating the sitemap?
Setting up a cron job iteself should be no problem.
But which file need to be started? ??bwp-simple-gxs-ms.php
bwp-simple-gxs.phpOr maybe something else?
I am more than willing to pay for things with added value, and so I do on a regular basis, but when you have loads of sites, a developer or unlimited sites license would be a great value as well.
You also see this with lots of developers selling plugins: a single, multiple and unlimited license.
My 2 cents. ??
Thanks for the info.
That’s pricey when you have multiple seperate sites. ??I am almost certain this has to do with the plugin itself and a problem with the htaccess file it is generating.
I already use the plugin quite a long time, on many sites and the same server but apparantly after an update of either the plugin and/or wp (not sure?) – this all started. Caused me hours and hours and many more hours to find out. ??We have our own dedicated server, with plenty of ram so that should not be a problem as well. And again: it used to work fine. :-/
I had blind faith in this plugin but we recently -after months running into huge, very huge server loads- discovered that WP better Security caused all these loads and complete dedicated server downtime (!!!) … A BIG BUG/ISSUE!
It seems that this is caused by the filecheck php file:
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in …./wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/inc/filecheck.php on line 55Type 500 errors as well …
Not sure yet but it may also have to do with some setting, I have other sites where there are no problems (yet).
WP 3.8 is installed in my case.
No other problems at all, but please also remember that the plugin is also used with older versions of WP.
Any chance to revert this again so that it works with php 5.2.x as well (again)?
Makes no sense at all having to upgrade php – which can cause major(!!!) problems with other scripts on all websites- just for a single WP plugin… I also don’t understand why it is only 5.3.x compatibel, have found no other script or plugin yet requiring this.
Earlier I have also -bought- the pro version and now slowly regret having done so. ??
So I now stuck having to use the older version … dissapointing!
