In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] site out of syncIf I click on the jetpack tab I see this at the top of the page:
Outbound HTTPS not working
Your site could not connect to WordPress.com via HTTPS. This could be due to any number of reasons, including faulty SSL certificates, misconfigured or missing SSL libraries, or network issues.Jetpack will re-test for HTTPS support once a day, but you can click here to try again immediately: Try again WordPress reports no SSL support
For more help, try our connection debugger or troubleshooting tips.
Threw the site health plugin I’m getting this:
Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.
The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Rss feed Broken againlooks like contact form 7 also breaks my feed

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Rss feed Broken againInteresting. I sat and turned everything off then brought up all serious plugins. all good. Yoast, then Jetpack, Then Google. all good.
The offending plugins that nuke the feed are WP User Avatars and Post Snippets.
Not being able to use post snippets is a biggie… we use this to insert gobs of content into our posts as not to have to retype content for every episode not sure if its there code that breaks the feed of an incompatibility between the 2 plugins.
Post snippets is basically a shortcode inserter… Stumped

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Problems with RSS feedNo other plugins have been added that use or reference geotargetting. the more research i do all indications point to jetpack injection. other plugin developers have issued a fix
seems “were not compatible” with WordPress any more.
