I have setting applied for my site with both Windows and Norton to make it a trusted site, and never experienced the problem with 1.2.

In reference to my perusal item #3 in the post above, here’s a little ‘exposure’ for Bill Gates in case you haven’t seen it yet.

Well, I have never been one to fear change – so I submit the following for perusal:

1. Firefox seems to have some cool features and I will explore them more in time to come.
2. I don’t mind starting over – I’ve already done it three times in the last week.
3. Bill Gates is extremely annoying.

Tomorrow I’ll continue refining my work to look right on Firefox. Why not?

I got it now – !!!

Seems as if Firefox doesn’t like the CSS ‘margin’ and prefers ‘padding’.
I changed the references from former to latter and it looks almost identical in both browsers!

Is there some code I could put into the page so it is not viewable by IE, or redirects to another page?
I almost would like it to not be seen at all rather than look like dookie.

What could be throwing off the alignment of the titles?

It’s obvious to me why you and Podz are developers.

I may know a lot about coding compared to the layman, but by no means do I consider myself an expert.

What I am really concerned with is ensuring that it looks the way I intended, no matter what browser someone is using. Isn’t that why there are XHTML standards in the first place?

OK, so the first post probably made it obvious that I used IE when designing it.

Out of major curiousity about the hype, I just installed Firefox to see how it would look to many of you.

Can anyone tell me why it looks great on IE but like crap on Firefox, which seems to be having a problem interpreting margins?

For those still in denial:
Whatever form it may come in, a firewall of some sort is (did I hear 99%?) the issue. I have Norton Internet Security installed on my machine, and I cannot delete posts or activate plugins unless I temporarily disable it.

But guess what – it’s no big deal! A simple right click in the taskbar to disable it for two seconds while I delete or activate is causing me no sleep loss.

There are far better things to be focusing on with development of WP than this issue.

I had an account at Livejournal for a while, got bored of it fairly quickly. I still liked the idea of a blog and also felt the urge to redesign the look and functionality of my site. I did a search (keywords forgotten) that led me to find WordPress, and I decided to give it a try. I was satisfied with my criteria of “free” being met, and got hooked by the ultimate customize-ability. Just like many others who have posted above me, I have enjoyed the vast amount of information that has been found within this forum and community!

From me as well – thanks for posting your info on class=”moblog”. I was looking for an easy way to insert photos into my posts with wrapped text, and spent a lot of time messing around with div classes and never got it to my liking.
So, Bravo for sharing a simple and workable solution!
