In reply to: Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasonsI’m having the same issue in 4.7.3 when trying to upload .ogg files using the HTML5 jQuery Audio plugin. I gave the developer access and he says he’s certain it’s the web hosting company (HostGator), so I reached out to them, but they say there’s nothing wrong on their end.

In reply to: [Music Store - WordPress eCommerce] Music Store UI customizationSo using only mp3 is okay? Also, can the duration for sample files vary from song to song or is it globally set?

In reply to: [Music Store - WordPress eCommerce] Music Store UI customizationThat might work. Are mp3 files the only format needed or are ogg files needed as well? Also, does the plugin automatically create 30-second sample files of the songs when uploaded?

In reply to: [HTML5 jQuery Audio Player] How to update just one song in Manage SongsWe upgraded to 4.7.3, but still have the same problem, which renders this plugin useless. I reached out to support. They finally checked their site and reported back that they can’t replicate the issue, but offered no suggestions for a solution. I don’t know what else to do with this plugin and don’t want to spend money on the pro version if I can’t get the free version to work properly.

In reply to: [HTML5 jQuery Audio Player] How to update just one song in Manage SongsI need to change a song title for one of the eight songs we have on our site. Any chance someone could provide instructions on how to change the title for just one song, without affecting the other songs?

In reply to: Plugin for selling musicEasy Digital Downloads in conjunction with HTML5 jQuery Audio Pro might be an option. Has anyone used those two plugins with success?

In reply to: Plugin for selling musicThanks for posting. Do you know if Easy Digital Downloads allows you to set up music so that users can listen to say a 30-second sample before purchasing?
@codepeople – Thanks. Do you know of any sites that are using this that we can check out?

In reply to: Selling music on WordPressI just learned about Music Store and am going to check that out too: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/music-store/
Is there a demo where I can see this? We’re looking to display multiple songs in a single column with no artwork and allow the user to listen to a sample clip.

In reply to: Allowing customers to track their payment historyIdeally, it would work like this. The administrator for the tour would announce instructions to parents, informing them to go to the site and create an account. Parents would be given a tour code to enter, which would allow them to view the tour page.
Let’s say each parent has to pay $300 for their trip. The administrator could say, “Hey Parents. Please sign up for the “Smokey Mountain Park Tour” by going to https://www.thetourpage.com. You’ll need to first create an account. Be sure to use “shssmokey0914” for the tour code when you register. Once registered, you’d be given the option to pay.
