You may want to check your theme options. Often there is a section on managing mobile menus.

Have reviewed Dashboard – Settings – Sharing – Sharing Buttons? There are several options to look at especially “Show buttons on”.

Have you tried clearing cache? Not only at your end but requesting your hosting provider to do so if they have a caching mechanism.

I am using SiteGround’s SG CachePress which is described as “Through the settings of this plugin you can manage how your WordPress interracts with NGINX and Memcached.”

I deactivated the SG CachePress plugin and was then able to set Jetpack parms, then I re-enabled the SG CachePress plugin with no problem. Then I was able to change Jetpack parms, again with no problem.

From reading all the posts I am highly suspicious of caching. Even without a caching plugin it may be the case where the host is using caching of some sort (I’d be surprised if they weren’t) and that is causing the problem. It may be as simple as clearing browser cache but I doubt it.

The anchors for your images are empty. Are you sure images have been defined to the slider?

Depending on your service provider, if you find getting in via FTP difficult you may be able to ask your host to rename the folder.

I do not have a definitive answer, but my guess would be a plugin is causing this. If practical you could deactivate all plugins at once then activate them one at a time to find the culprit. That can be a pain depending on which plugins you have but it is one way to narrow it down.

Have you implemented any custom CSS that would impact the styling of posts?

Out of curiosity, in spite of the fact that you do not see widgets listed on the left side of the screen, do you see any widgets in the widget locations such as footer widget areas, topbar, sidebar, etc.?

Did you have the WordFence plugin installed? I think this plugin has a parameter that will do this.

Virus?

Same problem. SiteGround had to restore. Suspect cache somewhere but have cleared all cache I can find.

I understand the huge problems you get when inheriting a plugin. Thank you for your efforts to solve this.

Use https. Ideally get a wildcard ssl certificate.
