I upgraded ONE blog because there were nag notes saying Please. I won’t do any others until some of this is ironed out. I do not like the new format. WordPress has become increasingly difficult to use with each upgrade. I have never used peculiar templates, but worked with their classic template and different colors, etc. However, the write dashboard has become more and more confusing. Is there a paid feature coming or something that is preparing by thinning out the user base? Or requiring us to have a ‘professional’ wordpress geek install and work on everything.
If you don’t want us uploading and storing photos, just say so. Then, make a reliable linking system to whereever we have them posted online. I’m one of those who didn’t even get the gallery option, plus old photos are gone. Glad this is a short blog without a lot of photos.
I also came here from blogger because I liked the self-hosting option. Now, I have to learn to live with increased difficulty or learn Joomla. ?? Things could be worse, and they are headed there.
