Keep note that first you have to setup SSL on your hosting side before installing plugin. The plugin just configures SSL on your wordpress site but does not actually install the SSL certificate. This is done via your web host like Godaddy first before installing Really Simple SSL plugin.

@nixiack8 This javascript should only be running on shopping cart and checkout pages not on every page, this causes poor site performance. I do not remember any of the previous plugin versions having this load on every page only after updating to 2.0.3 I do not think it was like that in 2.0.2. Also I reached out to official square support via email and If I remember correctly it was not intended.

@mgparisi Yes I agree it is bad for website load times it adds about .3 seconds to my homepage load time. That is where I noticed it added to every page after updating to version 2.0.3. I have not tried 2.0.4 yet but maybe they fixed this bug.

Hello we would like to keep everything as is just have it send out the email via the woocommerce “completed order” template. The email template woocommerce templace uses that lists the items below with thumbnails and price and order total. The reason we need this feature is.

1. The woocommerce email design is already configured
2. Our customers recognize this template already.

It looks on this forum that many are having issues with Syncing in Square. I have disabled the product syncing and just handle products inside of woocommerce only.

Nevermind woocommerce subscriptions 2.5.7 was causing conflict.

Sometimes I have found it best to disable all product and price syncing with Square and just let Woocommerce manage inventory stock.

Ok thanks I replaced those lines (line 50-56) using Dreamweaver and it was also throwing me a lot of syntax error in that file before the change. Hopefully it works.

Ok I did a test sale and it seems to work but there is a long delay between when you hit “pay for order” and when square returns the authorization and forwards customer to completed order page. like 15-20 seconds is there a way to reduce this lag time?

Well hopefully they can fix it soon. I had it happen yesterday a few times again on orders with and without coupons and no tax.

We are not using any item or inventory sync with Square. All sync inventory features are disabled.
