In reply to: [Cookie Information | Free GDPR Consent Solution] Re: Toremo’s Review1. If i.e. on a multisite or any wordpress site which uses wp_smushpro or wp_smushit or such kind of plugin an image gets processed you as a website owner are responsible that even the third party, which in that mentioned case means wpmudev or incsub the company behind it complies 100% with GDPR! If they can enusre 100% compliance well than good for those people who use their stuff, but as long as that isn’t the case you as a website owner might get in contact with Millions of fines because you use services which are not 100% compliant.
Since WPSmush takes no personal information from any members or site users you are “Wrong” … The GDPR relates to the holding of personal information and a persons rights to know what we do with this information and there rights to ask us to remove said information in a simple transparent manor and our legal requirement in the event of a breach to inform them of said breach. We are not required to inform them of anything that does not involve there personal data and smushing images in the wp-content folder in no way breaches the GDPR as no personal information is given to the smushing server or servers regardless of there physical location.

In reply to: [Get Use APIs - JSON Content Importer] Hi New to JSONAbsolutely 5 star support
Thank You so Much.Jaxom
I haven’t got this json totally figured out yet but I can tell you that you can’t call an open list like this search duckduckgo the way you have it set up it has no idea what your looking for.
Your first url= is a proper json file, the duckgo url is just a search list and your eventname leads to a 404 error.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Get Use APIs - JSON Content Importer] Hi New to JSONOk Getting closer but now all it displays is the Titles but still no data
[jsoncontentimporter url="https://www.openmicaustin.com/web_services/get_events/26" numberofdisplayeditems=”10″ basenode=”events”] {Event} {id} {member_id} {schedule_type_id} Title: {title} Venue: {venue_address} City: {venue_city} Zip/Post Code: {venue_zipcode} Phone: {venue_phone} Start Time: {start_time} Website: {venue_website} {Member}? {ScheduleType} [/jsoncontentimporter]
I know it is picking up the correct data from Base nodes as I have 7 events lines which matches the data pull.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Not even close to readyHi Tammie
I am very glad to hear that your slowing it down.
My biggest scare you probably wouldn’t want posted here but I am happy to send you screen shots of what clients pages look like when we turn on Gutenberg. My two biggest concerns are the time it is going to take to retrain clients and there reaction to that (will not go down well as we can’t do it for free) and the currently huge issue with massively broken pages and the cost of fixing them, again, we can’t do it for free.
You can drop me an email at [email protected] and I will send you screen shots of just how bad it can get using Gutenberg on a current site.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Not even close to readyHi Tammie
I am not against change, I am against the speed that this is being implemented as I have said in other posts and I am not the only one, even Joost de Valk is asking you to slow down.
I like the idea in principle but the speed of implementation is far to fast, on your original time line we would already have Gutenberg.
Like a lot of people we are just asking you to all slow down and take a breath, as I said above “Let it Grow Naturally”.
I have tested a few versions of Gutenberg on our test bed against current clients sites and the outcome is scary and will be incredibly costly to our clients.
I am not saying STOP, I am asking you to all slow down a bit, take a breath and implement it with a sensible time line from Beta, to plugin and then to core.- This reply was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by webmaster4business.

In reply to: 3.9.1 is not saving pages properlyEsmi, myself and 9 people have spent the best part of 3 days working out the issue, it happened on all new builds using SQL databases.
The entire problem was solved by removing pound and replacing with the code for £.And it is not site specific as we tested the theory across all 15 sites and they all reacted the same way. If there is a pound symbol in the code, using Text editor it calls a Stop save command, test it for yourself.
David.
PS. Have been using WordPress for over 5 years and been a member for that time and how many posts have I put up. I don’t complain unless I know something isn’t right.
