I found the fix for this.

In CompleteOrderAction.ts, you have triple “s” in resp.messages
AlertService.createAlertsFromMessages( resp.messsages );

The bug is in AlertService.ts file.

messages is undefined here:

if ( messages.indexOf( '<script' ) !== -1 ) {
jQuery( document.body ).prepend( <div style="display:none">${messages}</div> );
}

Is it compatible with WC 5.4+ ?

Remove is_search() condition. That is why at times the results show all the products instead of the filtered product ID.
