Exactly. I started off w the free version. Suddenly, I get notifications about You Need This and PAY FOR GDPR. Time is Money and my author that I support with my site on WP just turned 100 hundred years old. He needs to tell his story from being a surveillance pilot for Sweden during the Cold War, Allowing Kids Today to Code. But no, I need to PAY FOR GDPR? NO.

Hello @sacredpath ?? Thank you, I’ve had similar issues, and you’ve helped me to change my Menu font (to Courier), I’d also like to have it in lower case, but I can’t find out how to do this.

Do you also have a tip on how to change the font for the Title of the site? I’ve searched for an answer on the Lodestar homepage, but I can’t find it. Is it even possible?

I have a Personal Plan with WordPress.

I use a child theme, created with Once Click Child Theme plugin.

I will try to do as you suggested, but as I’m having a hard time connecting to my site with FTP,

I wonder if there’s any way to accomplish this using the CSS editor instead?

OK, I’ll try to revert to a backup from before February 1 and I will make sure I have automatic background updates in the future (I thought I had with ManageWP, but I’ll check). I will also alert my web host to this, if they’re not yet aware.

I think this is a serious flaw with otherwise wonderful WordPress.

I visit blogs on other platforms and I can easily “LIKE” their posts, with no login at all, but they can’t like MY posts if they don’t have a WordPress account. Not good at all.

INSTINCT tells you to press “Like” when you like something in 2016…

So hard to find info on this subject.

Hi, please help me: My website shows up empty on iPhone, but looks great on a desktop?! The only way to show my website correctly is by scrolling all the way down and click on “Show full site/desktop version” (or whatever the English version says).
I have Vantage Premium, Jetpack and I have the Responsive function activated.

I used the CSS module and made the changes you suggested. I was also bold enough to take a chance with the Read More link on the other pages, thinking they must be called .page ? It worked! Like this:

.page .more-link {
display: none;
}

I’m working with at child theme of Edin, created with the plugin One-Click Child Theme.

I wish there was a way to get rid of the “Read more” link all together! This would solve the problem of having to translate that bit?

Love the Edin theme, the grid page template is great – but this Read Me link forces me to choose another theme, sadly. (I’m running Edin on a self-hosted site and have selected Swedish under Settings – General).

Ooops ?? I solved it, so I’ll answer my own question: Yes, you can change the footer file with the plugin One Click Child Theme. Copy the footer.php from the mother theme (Edin). Edit the footer text to your like (follow Kathryn’s instructions above). Save the file on your computer. Upload the file to your Edin CHILD theme directory. Voila! ??

– Seems like I really can’t change much there?
