Thank you, but I don’t need longer help with the bug. I posted it now more than 3 months ago – and of course I had to solve the problem faster than that. So I found an other Plugin which works fine for me.
All I can say, that also Contact Form 7 before was working. Later it didn’t work anymore – I don’t know why. I posted the problem (with link and copy of the error message) to this forum but never get an answer. After more than 1 month waiting for an answer, I found with the help of another user (who had also issues with Contact Form 7) a new Plugin which is doing the job now. …

Even more than 1 month after posting the problem, the post got no reply. So what is unfair? Anyway, I said even above, that the plugin first worked also for me. Then suddenly it didnt work anymore, maybe after one of the updates. So I posted the problem but never got help. So I just posted my experiences – nothing unfair with it.
In the meantime I found a new plugin – Fast Secure Contact form – which is working fine.

I have the same problem. It was working fine but I transfered my weblog to another host. Now the problem occurs at the new server. Is there any step-by-step how to figure out what is the problem and how to solve it?

Hmm, I got it! I saw that the now appearing Spam comments are done with trackbacks. As I don’t want to disable trackbacks, I guess I have to live with this Spam and to sort it out by hand.

Now after the first day with your plugin activated, I see reduce of spam comments. But still there are some, sure not posted by human but bots. Is that possible? I mean, I experience using CAPTCHA at a static website with contact form. Since I have the captcha there, I experience really no more spam… How can a bot pass the captcha??? Does it help to activate Akismet while your plugin is active too???

I had tested some plugins but so far I could not find the right one.

I am looking for plugin which let me include podcasts within posts and pages. Regarding if its a MP3 or MP4 plugin the player should change to support the audio or video. And if it is just a text/link rss it should list the latest from the feed.

Can anyone recommend a plugin for this?

It would be a Plus if the plugin would support own podcasting too since I am planning to do that in the near future.

Sorry, I can’t show you a sample cause I “fixed” the problem as I described above.
Just try to add a link and put (copy paste) a description for the link like:

Beitr?ge au?er ge?lte überreste

Save the link with this description, then go to Link Library at the blog and you will see that it shows strange characters where is the ?, ?, ? and ü …

It happend within 2 different Themes, so I guess it has nothing to do with the Theme – since within posts and pages of the Theme this problem never showed up…

I had the same problem. WordPress converts given characters like ? ? ü ? to the proper codings, so the characters look fine within the blog. I had the problem using Link Library, that the plugin didn’t convert it, so within the Library outputs appeared strange phrases. I solved the problem to convert these special characters within the Links section by myself – so the word “Beitr?ge” is now Beitr & a u m l ; ge (of course without spaces)….

Hahaha! I found the solution, very simple:

<?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1'); ?>

The addition, depth=1, tells the tag to only generate the first level of menu items. All subpages are ignored.

So, problem solved! ??

and was working the code out which should work in my header navigation. The code within the given template is

Following the instructions I try to include only the pages 15, 17, 19, 82 and 2 (so that the sub pages will no more be listed within the header navbar but the main pages only) and came up with this:

<?php wp_list_pages(‘title_li=&depth=2&sort_column=menu_order&include=15,17,19,82,2′); ?>

But it does not work, giving me a syntax error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘=’ in /wp-content/themes/greenpoint-milanda/header.php on line 73

Can anybody help please how to get this fixed? That would be great!

No other statements? Can anybody help please? Is it okay that I extract the file wp-tinymce.js.gz and upload the extracted files in the folder /wp-includes/js/tinymce/ ???
