Thanks for looking. I am at another location away from home and am looking on a different computer. It’s not there for me either. That’s very bizarre. If it’s still there when I get home and look again, I’m going to go to the CForms plugin. It has nice features anyway.

Yes, I am talking about Carol. On every page that has a contact form, I can see the name and email address still filled in. Maybe that’s on my own PC only for some reason. I even see it when I’m not logged in.

Could a couple people check please? For easy reference: https://www.websitestocomputers.com

Otherwise, I might go to CFormsII for the standard comment form.

I saw all of those options. I think I would want ads on all my pages but the last two categories. Plus, I don’t think I want to have to doctor every post. That’s why I installed a plugin to create excerpts.

That blank index page really explains a lot about a problem I had on another PHP script a while back. I think I’ll add that in on a couple of others I have running right now.

Thanks again for all your help! It was an eye opener. One thing I’ve learned is that you’ll never learn it all. There’s always something new.

    Oooops!

I just logged out of my site and everything looks good now. I guess the changes didn’t show while I was still logged in. Even though I did refresh my page.

Still would like to know though if there are any other plugins that work better. Or how to properly configure the ALL-in-One plugin to not add it in automatically.

I just realized which readme file you were talking about. What can I say, It’s late!

I deactivated it, but nothing changed. It must not automatically undo the addition. I can go in and edit it manually since I only have the one post so far I guess. Is there another alternative to this plugin, because I definitely plan to use Adsense later?

I still don’t see the option to change when I look at the setting in the options for the plugin.

And for the other issue. The light came on there also! You just added wp-content/themes to my URL to get there. I saw the empty index file at the higher folder level. I just copied that into the two folders.

    Thanks, I appreciate the info!

I’ve been with BlueHost for 2 years now and have never had any problems. I just started my WordPress blog 2 days ago and have uploaded several themes. All are working and I’ve settled on one to stick with. No problems.

Like MichaelH said, check your file manager and make sure it’s uploaded to the proper folder.

You can call BlueHost’s tech support and I’m sure they will help you.

I looked at my All in One Adsense and YPN Plugin and I don’t see anything about automatically insert ads on the fly.

Also, could you expand on the empty index file? This is the first I’ve heard of this.

    Thanks, I’ll check that file.

    You’re definitely right. Great catch!

Any clue as to how I can get rid of it? I checked my Adsense plugin. Nothing!

I’ll kep checking around. I’m sure it has to surface somewhere.

    Yhanks,

It sounds like maybe you uploaded the top level folder. Usually you have to open the folder until you get to the one that actually contains all the files and then upload that folder. I hope I’m making sense.

You’ll have to delete the first try, and then open it further as mentioned before and re-upload it.

    Hope it helps!

I solved it myself. I found it in the Header file. I removed this line:
    <h1>” title=”<?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?>”><?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?></h1>
I put this in just in case someone else might have the same problem

    Hope it helps someone,

    Hi,
I can’t say anything about DreamHost and Anhosting, but I have been with BlueHost for 2 years now. I have about 12 sites on there. I haven’t had any problems at all. Never any down time. Whenever I call with a question, they are always very helpful. (24/7) They provide all of the requirements for a PHP type of site like WordPress.
