What is the code if I want to put the social media icons on the bottom of the page (not in the sidebar or the header)? I am using Acurax Social Media (not the floating one). Thanks so much.

Hi there. Look for the code that has the search bar — not the search bar stuff on the style css. The one I’m talking about is it’s its own page. (I switched themes, so I can’t say exactly what it is, but you should find it as one of the options on the right side menu when you click editor). Anyway, when you find the search bar (search bar.php or something like that) — delete all of that stuff. Hit save. And that should get rid of the search bar. When the theme updates, though, the search bar will be there again, so you will have to delete it all again. Hope this helps.

I should also note that I have more than just two pages, but only want the blog page to have the sidebar. Thanks.

Hello. Thank you so much for your help, especially with the advice of the custom css plugin. That’s handy. I ended up switching themes because pujugama was kind of difficult. I’m using Bouquet now and it’s doing what I need, but I still need to know if there is a way to have a static home page without showing the sidebar, then a blog page with sidebar. I have already followed the instructions on that link. It doesn’t allow me to set up a sidebar for another page.

My site’s kind of a mess so I don’t want to post the link, but I can send it to you directly with an address.

Hello, disregard the last question as it changes depending on the computer. I still need to know though if it is possible to have a blog page with a sidebar and another page without the sidebar. Thanks.

Thanks. I haven’t made any changes to the original theme yet, which is why I didn’t bother posting the site. Thank you for the links. I created my own glittery color in gimp though, so that’s what I wanted to put as a background,–like an image, not just change the color. Any idea what the code is for this? (I need it for both the background where it’s grey and for the top header that’s blue). Thanks.

I did this. And then I went to widgets to put the things I want in the sidebar, but they don’t show up on the page I set up as a blog. The blog entry itself shows up, but nothing in the sidebar.

I am trying to figure out how to change the header image (I think that’s what it’s called). I can change the background for the bottom part, but how do we change the header? (Not the slider images)
Also, how do I change the font color of the website name (the writing beside the logo?) Thanks.

Also, (sorry for asking too many questions) how do I set up a picture at the header? As in, I want the picture to be behind the name of the site completely at the top.

I followed your earlier instruction and the list worked! However, the list has commas at the end as in
A,
B,
C,
and also some are bigger than others like they were in the cloud. Any idea on how I can make the words all the same size?
The reason I want to do this is that I like the way a list looks better than the cloud. I am using side column widget.
