Thanx @angelo_nwl for the tip on Admin tools in your answer to “Events List showing wrong month” from Camille (@kyameel). Settings > Admin Tools > Database Cleanup > Remove Orphaned Events just changed 151 corrupted records to 3. Yeah!! Definitely a step in the right direction.

Problem almost resolved.

My logic says it’s more important to keep your site running, than blow time spinning in circles trying to figure out why it’s busted, or waste time muttering about how to fix something you and me prob can’t fix.

Just restore the last version, until there’s a fix.

I had thought it was related to events da ye problem I previously asked about, but correct seems to have had no effect.

(I have a bunch of sites, with different versions of WP and can;t remember the site where I first noticed it. I had in the plugin on a number of them. Sorry thats not very helpful.)

Solved it.

Don’t know what to say except that I had rechecked the CataBlog.clas.php and found that I hadn’t added the the new fields to what turned out to be the critical function for displaying them on the cart page.

Hi mbrsolution. A built-in “fields” mechanism in Catablog? Didn’t know there was one there. I’d heard about the addition of user fields in the Support forum here, but thot it was still under development.

I’m using Catablog 1.6.6 on WP 3.9.3, cause I’m also using the Catablog Ordering (0.1.3) plugin for outputting an email Purchase Order, instead of a retail purchase checkout form. Catablog Ordering (0.1.3) only works with WP 3.5 to WP 3.9

I created the fields myself by going through the code in the lib folder, mostly CataBlog.class.php and CataBlogItem.class.php, etc. I wanted the fields in postmeta so that they would be user editable. They are used to create item dependent price list, based on a set of quantities (1-4, 5-19, 20-49, 50-100, >100), for each item in Catablog.

i also tried using the TwentyFourteen and TwentyTweleve themes as well.

I’ve also previously tryed modifying installer.php to create the rsjp_submissions table with all the new fields with no success.

I’ve done a new install with just WP 3.8, the theme and RSJP.
RSJP installs just fine. Everything works properly.

The problem occurs when I add a new field to the rsjp_submissions table. When I remove the new field, everything works fine again.

Any thots?
(Something new in the WP Core when it calls the table? MyPhpAAdmin not updating a MySql value, so WP doesnt recognize it? Im stumped.)

I didnt think 3.8 would be an issue either. Havent even gotten to modifying the code yet to add new fields. Just adding z new field to the table causes the prob to occur, which makes no sense cause there’s no code associated with the new field.

I’ve disabled all plugins, but I am using an old theme. Maybe there’s a stray setting in the database causing the prob. Could be associated with why I can’t get the [resumeDisplay] shortcode to display. Gonna try a fresh install of just 3.8, the theme and RSJP.
