Seems to be a bug in astra theme 3.9, they released an patch for it.

Fix: WooCommerce – Child theme’s WooCommerce custom templates gets overridden by parent theme.

There is nothing special in that child theme, we are the creator of that theme.
It is a simple plain child theme from astra.

No the changes in the child theme are not overwritten, shop simply stopped using these versions, instead it resumed using the files in the plugin folder.

After making changes in the plugin files it confirmed that this files were used instead of the ones in the child theme.

This has been working normally for over a year but suddenly stopped working today.

I’m aware of the procedure how to overrule templates in the child theme.

Redirection is not working, if i change it to tipcategory without underscore it is working. But since my category slug contains the underscore it is not a solution ofcourse

The crop issue, i could replicated in connection to the ewww image optimzer plugin.
Disabling that plugin results in being able to use the crop function again.

Will test this with some other optimzers to see if they work together with your plugin.

Double buttons are gone!

When used with gutenberg the translation of the button is not correct.

We abonded your plugin because besides the not working crop we encountered more issues beacause the 2 blue regenerate buttons at the featured image appeared twice and did not function anymore, it even messed up the backend layout.

Tried finding a conflict with other plugins, but since we used your plugin for more then a year on maybe 20-30 sites it suddenly had problems. We could not find a conflict quickly.

Most sites we run are build with astra of beaver theme and use beaver builder and ACF Pro, ofcourse some more plugins

It might have to do with the classic editor addon but i’m not sure and havent tested it.

Just found out:

Enable author for private page cpt.

Change user role of user and go to the specific private page, now you are able to set author to user.

After that change back the user role for user and remove author support for cpt private page again.
