They only only changed names and some other minor changes look at the files, unfortunately I can still download the pro edition, only to look at it. and now they demand to pay……. more and more when will it end? simply stay away for your own safety for this “security” company, soon you will need an actual security company to protect and clean up what this do/will do to your server….
No it also happen on a few of our servers too all in all need to clean now over 14 different installations, and totally forget I have ever spent on this company for lifetime license ended very very fast, and guess what? now I’m forced to what? pay you monthly? yearly? why ? because you changed name? at least give us one site license for new plugin to be lifetime or something like this now you just robed us all!
Horrible company practices, no one should ever trust them again.Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [Inspect HTTP Requests] Not working/tracking any requestsThank you for your help and the effort, unfortunately I moved on shortly after I started the support ticket, to similar plugin that did record all HTTP calls in and out of the WordPress app. so I assumed it was something with this plugin and I also know Nginx can do this too, and also all API calls are blocked as my default WP install.

In reply to: [Inspect HTTP Requests] Not working/tracking any requestsHello Younes,
Sorry for the delay, yes that’s strange maybe my server configuration miss match or something similar, in one vps it’s using Nginx and maybe that skips Apache http checks?Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Health Check & Troubleshooting] Auto updates are required?Totally agree with you, interested to hear what’s the ‘must’ is all about? I would like my customers to see green check too! I manage all updates by myself I don’t need to have them calling for broken updates every week as it used to be.

In reply to: [WP fail2ban - Advanced Security] Security risksYes this plugin is a giant security risk it for one uses “Freemius” as a framework that will transmit back home data even if you select NO.
Not to mention all the other risks this plugin includes.
All in all there is over 3mb of trash data added to this plugin!

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Removed dashicon.css when only used pure labelLast two recommendations: after all is done and you are happy,
1) Check and fix if you can, if not there are plugins to help you with that for simplicity or code that can be added for a bit more advanced user.
https://securityheaders.com/2) Install and use CDN, maybe test the free Cloudflare

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Removed dashicon.css when only used pure labelAlso important to get rid of as many Bot’s as possible! that will free your server to provide the website to actual users.
For that too there are many options but I use:
1) “Blackhole Pro”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/blackhole-bad-bots/2) “BBQ Firewall Pro”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/block-bad-queries/Again depending on many things but this are simple to use and good at what they do.

If possible please let us all know if you chose to use any of this recommendations?
And before installing and using them can you maybe take screenshots of the page speed results? from:
and
https://web.dev/measure/
https://redbot.org/Then after setting up the new plugins let’s take new screenshots?
Never waste a good evidential speed optimization, then you know for sure what worked, maybe can use next time similar set. etc..

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Removed dashicon.css when only used pure labelWell regarding page speed there are tons of recommendations available, but depending on many different things like for example the amount of plugins installed and the quality of the code, etc.. etc..
My recommendations & checklist is very long, but to be more specific to what you asked and not to complicate things too much, maybe start with:
1) It’s free and simple to use. “WordPress Assets manager, dequeue scripts, dequeue styles”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/gonzales/2) Personally I use this: “Perfmatters” the pro edition.
https://perfmatters.io/features/Cost: $24.95 per year
3) Not tested yet, but shows a lot of promise: “Flying Scripts by WP Speed Matters”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/flying-scripts/Extra things to look into:
4) And for Cache if you have LiteSpeed server: “LiteSpeed Cache”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/litespeed-cache/5) For images – “WebP Express”
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/webp-express/6) “Stop Generating Unnecessary Thumbnails” To stop ALL extra image sizes, because I upload images that are already super optimized, any further changes will make it much bigger and I seen it happen many times.

In reply to: [Post Views Counter] Removed dashicon.css when only used pure labelI’d unchecked both and it still appeared “removed unused css”.
…css/dashicons.min.css?ver=5.7.2Ok, now its unclear what do you mean by: “removed unused css” are you using a plugin to stop it or code?
and have you also removed the text inside “Icon Class” ?
I’d disabled the cache plugin and clear the browser cache.
Try different browser too, just to make sure.
Also please check if there is any errors on the pages where you try to hide the icons…
One extra thing you can do is install “Query Monitor” plugin to see if there is anything abnormal…
as a last resort you can also hide the icons with css code.
