to the additional css box in the customizer (thinking I would just change the colour afterwards) but it doesn’t seem to have changed anything. Is that all I needed to do? Thanks.

I’m using Poseidon and my version is 4.8.2

Edit: I’ve managed to change some by clicking into the word, highlighting half of it, changing the colour then doing the other half, but this doesn’t really feel like the ‘right’ way of doing it!

It turned out to be a problem with a plugin after all, even though I had deactivated them all. Bit of a nightmare but got there in the end. Thanks for your help!

Okay, I went to the Twenty Seventeen theme and I was able to edit, so I guess that means it’s my theme. Bah! My whole site is based on that theme!

Steve Stern, thank you. I’ve discovered most of the site seems to be down and my head is swimming. I just can’t focus on the info you have given and what I actually need to do to get into the debug mode

Update: site is back but pages are still blank when I try to edit them, posts too.
