    Thanks for the reply @luwie93.

Just to clarify: I have set the Mobile Menu breakpoint to 1280px on purpose. This is fine and no issue.

I am aware of the possibility to set additional breakpoints within Elementor as well. Right now, I have active the two default ones for mobile portrait and tablet portrait.

The issue is, I search for an active breakpoint @480px which unintentionally reduces the font size below the values I have selected. So far I have not been able to find any adjustment which is set to 480px – not in wordpress, not in OceanWP and not in Elementor…

So here again my current seetings as an overview:

    Elementor Breakpoints:
mobile at 767px, font size body set in customizer: 16px
tablet at 1024px, font size body set in customizer:18px
PC above 1024px, font size body set in customizer: 20px

OceanWP breakpoint for mobile menu: 1280px

Unknown breakpoint (the setting for which I am looking for and am not able to find so ar) at 480px, font size body something below 16px

Okay, thanks for the heads-up. Will try at Elementor directly.

    Hello Shahin,

    success!
I use the siteground optimizer plugin to enforce https and now the fonts seem to work.
I was sure that https enforcement was already active as you can activate this feature also on the siteground website itself and I did so… was not aware you have to do the same in the SG optimizer plugin.

So grateful for your support! Many thanks again.

    Best regards

    Hi Shahin (@skalanter),

many thanks for getting back to me.

The System Info is here: https://pastebin.com/NHenQkBz

In the list of plugins you see a maintenance mode plugin – the issue occurs also without that plugin active.

For the time being I disabled the the maintenance mode so that anybody could analyse the website.

    Best regards

    Hello @skalanter,

    many thanks for your reply.
Regarding your troubleshooting advice I can give the following feedback:

    – child theme. Both style.css and functions.php are untouched, I installed without specific need, just wanted to be prepared in case the need arises. For the moment I left the child theme active.
    – all caches (Browser, Hoster) flushed, then all plugins deactived and only Ocean Extra Plugin activated: Website looks weird, some elements not formatted properly, and

      no change

to the font appearance, still default fonts.
    – activated then only Elementor and Elementor Pro, went to Tools and regenerated all assets file and checked the site: Website looks okay again, but still no change to the fonts ??
    – then I was sufficiently unnerved to uncheck the 2 boxes “…fonts from site” in the customizer, and this works at least. Loading the 2 fonts I need from google servers works.
    – Activating the 2 checkboxes again and I am back with the default fonts…

    Are there any further suggestions?
It is good to know there is a fallback solution, but I really wanted to avoid loading the fonts from google servers and thus appreciated that “fonts from site” feature of OceanWP very much…

    Best regards
    Carsten

I was too impatient and activated a back-up of the site, so that I can continue working on it.
So at the moment, I have the old logo back and no issue.
I will revive this thread in case the issue occurs again.
