In reply to: One Sign InYou’ll create the sub sites within WordPress.
After setting up the WordPress Network, it’ll listen for subdomains or directories that match your new site slugs. As bcworkz said, if you create the directory for the sub site, it’ll go directly to that.
What we have done in the past to have many sub sites with the same themes/plugins/settings is set one up the way we want it, and use a plugin to clone the site. There are many of those out there, but we have used NS Cloner and the WPMU New Blog Templates to quickly create a new site quickly.

In reply to: One Sign InYou’re best bet is likely to set up WordPress as a Network.
Also, I have not used this, but this plugin sounds like it’ll add the users to each site and you can choose which role they end up with.
Good Luck!

In reply to: Strange url when changing permalinkAre you using WooCommerce? It has a setting “geolocalize users with cache support” which can do this.

In reply to: [Caption Linker] Just what I needed! Small feature requestHey evster,
The latest version of this plugin will now ask you if you would like to open the link in a new tab.
I have explored the WordPress link functionality, and have yet to come up with a solution that is as simple as what we have right now. I’ll continue to explore.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Caption Linker] Not inserting caption directly after uploadI haven’t had a chance to look into this issue, but for now, this workaround might help.
Upload the file
Change to a different image (or close modal window)
When selecting the image again, the link icon should show up and work as intendedI’ll take a look at this bug when I get a chance

In reply to: [Caption Linker] Just what I needed! Small feature requestAwesome! I’m glad it helped, I was surprised to find that nobody had built something like this before.
I will look into the native WordPress link functionality, I hadn’t even considered that that might be available outside of TinyMCE. If it is, I’d much rather use that as it will allow them to search for website content.

In reply to: WP_Query on CPT Archive Page including Custom TaxonomyNevermind, I found that there was a function snuck into the theme that was modifying the query.
Thanks!

In reply to: WP_Query on CPT Archive Page including Custom TaxonomyI know right!
The query is being run as part of a widget inside of the footer area.
Both the Query args and the Request came from the same print_r of the WP_Query object.

In reply to: [Multiple Post Thumbnails] Image doesn't appear in panel after selectionI think this is caused by a JavaScript error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘setThumbnailID’ of undefined multi-post-thumbnails-admin.js?ver=3.9.1 on line 45
