    Hi,

I set up the blog seven years ago and don’t really post so my memory is cloudy on where I set it up. All I know is I had a bookmarked link that allowed me to login to the blog to edit it. When I changed computers and lost all my bookmarks I simply tried to log in to wordpress.com but I realized I am hosting the blog myself so it must be via www.ads-software.com. But when I login to www.ads-software.com I cannot find the section where my blog is and how to edit it. Shouldn’t it be somewhere??

i got it to work. i tried a few times. who knows why. could be sleep deprivation or buggy.

oh and if i manually insert code it still doesn’t work. and when i switch to html, it gets garbled. so i change it in html mode again and still doesn’t work.

ok. so i click on the blue link and it opens up a window to enter the url. pretty standard stuff. i do so and click ok. the standard html code then appears in the post. there was never another window for the text associated with the link. so of course when i view the post it is just the code. then sometimes it makes all the text after a huge link. this is infuriating. this is the most basic function of web publishing and it should work. i have been putting links into pages since 1995, i am so frustrated. if i were doing this on my site it would take a second and I have wasted hours over this scouring docs and forums to no effect. either wordpress is buggy or sucks. any suggestions?
