Visitors are inadvertently submitting the form multiple times and the emails are sending as well. This issue is consistent across all sites using Jetpack forms. It appears to be compounded by touch screen devices registering multiple clicks on submit buttons.

This problem has nothing to do with spam. We have excellent spam control and prevention provided by another developer.

The issue is with legitimate visitors that submit forms multiple times. This is especially an issue with mobile phones as their submissions can duplicate the information up to 15 times.

We were able to lookup network blocks during brute force attacks. This saved a tremendous amount of time. Now we have to leave the site to look up the network block containing the offending IP address, then return to the plugin. It’s faster to use other security plugins at this point, especially for sites that are frequently targeted.

I’ve narrowed it down to the css. Added the following to exclude from autoptimize icons.min.css, widget.min.css, admin.min.css and the site still wouldn’t load.
I am using Jetpack comments, contact form, extra sidebar widgets, gravatar hovercards, shortcode embeds, WordPress manage, monitor, notifications, photon, related posts, site stats, site verification, spelling & grammar, subscriptions, widget visibility.

There appears to be an conflict with the most current version of Jetpack. The site doesn’t load unless Autopimize is deactivated.

The wp-paypal code doesn’t render when Autoptimize v1.9.4 is activated.
