@missveronicatv Any updates?
@missveronicatv Just saw your reply….
There is a second issue now with the “Restrict Content Pro” plugin,
and this is the new UM GitHub issue report.https://github.com/ultimatemember/ultimatemember/issues/1288
Thank you.
Just tried to update the restricted content idea and nothing, still the same error and result. I excluded the account page and the following subscription page and nothing helped.

Can you clarify, will changing that setting lock down the website and force a login for all visitors?
I will try that on a staging and see what that changes.
I don’t have the option of “Exclude the following URLs” See screenshot.
@missveronicatv As I stated in my OP, this is an integration with Restrict Content Pro, and when I contacted their support, they said that I needed to contact UM because I was using their shortcode.
From the RCP UM integration page, they do add a ‘subscriptions’ tab… https://restrictcontentpro.com/add-on/ultimate-member-integration/
This is the reply I received from RCP’s support…
Hi Mark, thank you for providing the file.
Looks like we will have to investigate what’s causing this specific error to appear. When I open the links in a new tab, they seem to be working. But when the button is directly clicked, it doesn’t work. Quick Video: https://www.loom.com/share/9aaceecc76124925a18069d93888e2b8Considering that you are using the shortcode [ultimatemember_account] on the account page, it seems the issue is coming from the Ultimate Member plugin.
It appears that the plugin is unable to handle the link within the subscription tab due to a conflict with the click event capture. I recommend contacting the support team of Ultimate Member for assistance with resolving this problem.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Best regards,
Ellie- This reply was modified 1 year, 6 months ago by werle77.
[ultimatemember_account]

Yes, you are correct. The issues is that I don’t know how to inject that into the UM standard buttons that are not accessible to edit. Any suggestions to do this? The buttons are added using the UM shortcode so I am not sure how to add this attribute.
Yes, I just updated to 2.6.10, tested and the same results.
That is all default UM. I only have the [ultimatemember_account] shortcode on that part.
@missveronicatv It doesn’t seem like that is the problem, but maybe? Not sure why this is considered a redirect as it is going to the register page on the same site and just loading the RCP form to renew or upgrade. I’m not sure what I would add in the Safe Redirect field in UM’s settings.
We are using PayPal standard through RCP, but again, why would this change now? All of the API’s are correct. If you follow the video in my OP, you can see that this works IF you open the link in a new tab. Very strange.
I see what you are referring to in UM’s settings, but I am not sure why I would need to update that now. This has been working for years without any issues.
Nope, my question is about the free version. I, at one time several years ago, did have a subscription but I am using the free version at the moment and have been using the free version without any issues since 2018. I’ve been very happy with it.
I am aware that this forum is only for the free version of your plugin which is why I have posted here. The txt file is 45kb.
Are you able to provide any insight into why this error is happening?
I also wanted to clarify, that I am using Restrict Content Pro on this site and they have an integration with Ultimate Member. I started with RCP’s support and they advised that I reach out to you because I use your shortcode [ultimatemember_account] for the Account page.

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Force Login] protect a single page?Thank you for your quick response. Yes, figured that would be your response about inverting the intended use of your plugin. I need to password protect an entire page before it loads, not just the content, which is what the WP Password protected does.
Since Force Login cannot be reverse engineered to fit this need, what would be your recommendation to password protect a page before it loads?
Same Problem here.

Thanks for the reply.
The second option worked for me. It was probably that I had the Apply Custom settings set to yes, but didn’t realize it and the Primary Button Text was blank.Screen Shot Button No Text
