In reply to: Database import errorOkay, so I got everything working again… apparently what was required was for me to manually edit the sql file and remove all of the duplicate entries. There were many, all in the posts table. Not sure how that happened. But things work now! Hurray. <3

In reply to: [File Un-Attach] [Plugin: File Un-Attach] Gallery [exclude] dont workingGreat plugin, but yeah — I had the same issue. If I had to guess, I’d think it had to do with the numbers being thrown off somehow? Gallery [include] still worked, but different images than the ones I’d specified showed up.
I was having the same problem with the download not popping up, backups not being e-mailed to me (I don’t usually do this, but tried it when downloading the backup to my computer didn’t work), and backups not being deleted from the server. As for f00f, upgrading to 2.2.4-beta resolved the issue in my case.
(Oddly, the issue was only happening on one of my two WP sites; version 2.2.3 continues to work properly on the other — possibly because it is a smaller site with fewer active plugins? I use the same host for both, and the site configurations beyond the plugins are identical.)

In reply to: [Diagnosis] Parse error upon updating to Diagnosis 2.1.1Disabled all of the plugins — it doesn’t work even when it’s the only thing activated. Really weird.
And the PHP info came from a plugin — WP-Memory-Usage. It displays the PHP version on the WP dashboard. ??

In reply to: [Diagnosis] Parse error upon updating to Diagnosis 2.1.1Yep — same error.
(I appreciate your looking into this issue, by the way! :))

In reply to: Problem Log-out with WordPressFatcow and Ipage appear to be closely linked — this blog I’ve been having trouble with was purchased from iPage from what I’ve been able to discern, but it shows up on a list of new domains on Fatcow. So… hrm.
Anyway, t34, you don’t happen to have the plugin Antivirus, do you? I’d be curious to know if it works properly for you, since I’m currently assuming that the problem I’m having with it is connected to the logout problem.

In reply to: Logout: Error Page / 403 Forbidden.Hi Pranav — how would the router be causing problem #1? I maintain three WP sites (two of which I handled the installs myself and have used for years; one new one that was set up by someone else), but I only have this problem with one of them (the one I didn’t set up). So I doubt it’s the router, at least in my case.

In reply to: [Acunetix Secure WordPress] [Plugin: Secure WordPress] Secure WordPress@frank — No problem! Thank you for working up a fix so quickly. ??
@digtwitter — Good advice, though I don’t think the plugin permanently alters anything. When I initially had problems with it, I just deactivated it and everything was fine.

In reply to: [Acunetix Secure WordPress] [Plugin: Secure WordPress] Secure WordPress@frank — That version appears to be working fine for me!

In reply to: [Acunetix Secure WordPress] [Plugin: Secure WordPress] Secure WordPressMy server’s running php version 5.2.14.

In reply to: [Acunetix Secure WordPress] [Plugin: Secure WordPress] Secure WordPressYeah, I had the same problem. Here’s the error it gave:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in blahblahwordpresssite/wp-content/plugins/secure-wordpress/secure-wordpress.php on line 99

In reply to: Problem Log-out with WordPressiPower, eh? I believe the host of the site I’m having a problem with is iPage… so hrm.

In reply to: Problem Log-out with WordPressI’m having this problem on a WP blog as well — my two previous WP blogs work fine, so I doubt it’s an OS/browser issue. That WP blog also has problems running the Antivirus plugin (it just kinda hangs when I try to do a scan — do you have that plugin, jhagee? and if so, does it work for you?), but it works fine for the others. Seems like a server issue to me at this point.

In reply to: ERROR: WordPress 2.9 requires MySQL 4.1.2 or higherOkay, I just got it working… given all of the errors I got with exported databases from myphpadmin, I recommend using the WordPress backups.
