In reply to: [Link Library] Short Code filtering of link categoriesI think the date the link was updated can probably replace the date the link was created when displaying a list of links in a post. I have to keep tabs on documentation produced by Microsoft, so it would be geat to know the freshness of a page. I appreciate certain links would change all the time but if I could target only the wiki stlpe pages / links that normally get updated on a monthly basis.
Hope this helps

In reply to: [Link Library] Short Code filtering of link categoriesYes that worked … Thanks .
A while back , I asked about adding Link date to the library advanced options. This is styled thanks to the neat CSS you defined. It looks good. Anyway I was wondering if it is possible to add or replace this with Link-modifed-date. I appreciate that check and subsequent update would need to be done for all links ( now filtered by categories). However, this could done during the refresh cycle on page load. We can of course add the *new” or *updated” metadata against the relevant links. My reasoning is that I can see at glance which pages have been updated and when.
Hi
I have raised and issue on GIT as I couldn’t really get on with the instructions. If you clarify, I will have another go.
Hi I figured it ….
just add the following to the /ngg_styles/nggallery.css
/*
CSS Name: Default Styles
Description: NextGEN Default Gallery Stylesheet
Author: Imagely
Version: 2.13This stylesheet is provided to allow users the ability of overriding the default styles for all display types
*/.ngg-imagebrowser h3 {
text-align: center;
display: none; /* want to hide the filename above the image*/
}Hi Andi
Sorry I have been away from dev laptop ( an on my road bike ) . I can try this on Friday morning (GMT) and let you know. happy to commnicate on GIT if you prefer
oK, I understand the document.
Looks like I will need to install replace the existing EnlighterJS 2.x code but still use the current Enlighter plugin . Is this correct?
Well I guess I can test out the installation based on the examples or a rough set of install notes (markup) on Git. The second part looks a bit more time consuming and I wouldn’t know where to start!
I have been involved in beta testing other plugins, so I know the support is a best endeavours.
Andi
I get that but if I am to beta test RC1, I won’t “automagically” know how to install it ?? .
Andi
Ok, if you point me at any documentation that covers the manual install / integration steps ( FTP or whatever) and I will given it a whirl.
Indeed, I tend to write lots of PowerShell for my clients so I don’t have any choice but test out your RC1.- This reply was modified 6 years, 8 months ago by westerdaled.

Thanks, for your reply on Gists. Ok from what I have Googled, I see the EnlighterJS 3.x is only availble in a private beta with a limited number of themes. That said, I would be happy to test this.

Hi Andi
Thanks for your reply.
I have installed the plugin and the next question is how do I upgrade the current ENlighterJS version (see below) to 3+ . Do we install via GitHub?
Enlighter Plugin Version: 3.7
EnlighterJS Version: 2.12.0Ok, out of interest does EnlighterJS support links to Gists?

In reply to: [Link Library] New icon settingsHi Yannick
Yes the style now applied and it looks good. With this approach, I can style a few of the columns you expose in the advance settings
I will back up that style sheet in in my themes GIT repo.
Thanks very much.

In reply to: [Link Library] New icon settingsHi Yannick
Yes, I have found the column “Link Date”. Ok, by adding you see it alongside the link

When I talk about styling I want to show the Date and time styled .e.g. smaller font, italics or the light grey colour, as I suggested earlier. I want the reader to see the link details and then be drawn to the secondary meta data, such as the date and time.
The New icon is fine btw

In reply to: [Link Library] Only 6 out of 9 published links shown in my draft postHi Yannick
Much better as I have now 8 links under 1 category. I my previous tests I add a dummy link which I have now deleted, so now all links present & correct!
Out of interest, what is the duration of the New icon presence?

In reply to: [Link Library] Only 6 out of 9 published links shown in my draft postHi
Should I uninstall the beta given it doesn’t seem to work correctly as described above.
