have you tried editing the newser widget and setting it to a fixed width?

Did you figure this out? You post isn’t really clear about what you were looking for.

if you are using a custom template, have you tried switching to the default?

Did the posts disappear after editing them? Could be the visual editor ate them. It seems to be a very hungry creature.

assuming you are referring to localhost as being the local.mysite.org then I would think that you can install the newest version of wordpress in the same directory with different folder name (so that it doesnt overwrite you files), change the old wordpress folder name to something different, like adding a zero or something, then change the new wordpress folder to the same name as the orginal.

For example, if you are using ‘wordpress’ as a folder name now then change it to ‘wordpress0’ then put the new wordpress install in a new folder named ‘wordpress’.

Then all you should need to do is copy the ‘wp-config.php’ file from your old install into the new install. If you are using a custom template and/or plugins then you should copy those too.

Of course I could be wrong and your computer will have a melt down.

Are you using any plugins?

your error is php error and has nothing to do with cache…the error is occuring on your website before its even sent to you.

What’s happening is that you are sending the php ‘header’ command a second time. which is like trying start a new page from a page you just started.

Google “php header” or check out https://us.php.net/header

If you are using widgets you might try taking out all them and add them back one at a time to see if you can spot the one causing the trouble.

Or, your template may be causing you problems, switch to the default or classic templates and see if that helps.
