Thank you, there is no adblock in IE.
Unfortunetely, there ae some Javascript errors. No additional scroll and social buttons work.I think it is something to do while gathering data from social media like YT. Like number a followers. Simply it shows only “Saving”
But I cant see Social Buttons in Internet Explorer. Maybe you could fix it for all people.
What about incompatibility with Internet Explorer.
In Firefox everything looks OK.
I change fonts with plugin. I added some social buttons.
But in IE there is no change. It looks sad.I think I have to forget about social buttons (there are some javascript error I dont care I use FF). But what about fonts. I can add external font to my theme? Only copy font to ftp directory, and then add a special line in CSS? Is that true?
You are right. But i am only REPORTING in this case.
But if I am newbie I want to be sure, that there is no problems for me in free version. In this case they say it is something to do with a theme. You say it is something to do with plugin. I say I REPORT to both of you and that is all.
I ask only because I dont want to destroy something. For someone who uses a free version of MH Lite is not a bad idea to ask.
Mate, there are thousands of themes and plugins out there and not everything is compatible.
Is it possible that older version of plugins could even erase my child-theme and harm my work?
My mistake, not major fixes, but final changes. I mean I see some plugins conflict with MH Lite and I dont know if it is because of a theme or a plugin.
However, if the plugin developer is not willing to look into this, you also could simply use a different plugin
You are right.
It is strange for me, but why they wouldn’t do thathttps://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/major-bug-on-a-child-theme?replies=2#post-7747945
Thank you for your help. I customize my child theme, there ae some major fixes. Then I will make posts.
But there are problems with Plugins. Once I had to disable WP Google Fonts, now I have no idea what about Ultimate Social Media plugin. Is it compatible with MH Lite?

CTC suggests me to ask an author of a plugin. It is MH Magazine Lite.

1. how to make thumbnail icons horizontsally not vertically on default
Sorry, unfortunately we don’t know what exactly you mean with this.
I think my question has something to do with your answer about creating a static front page.
I mean on default there is vertical align of thumbnails. But when I want to change them to be horizontal? Like on theme preview there are to columns and it seems like horizontal but it is not.
But when I create one column it is shown as vertical only.I men featured image not foreground. I mean this one we find on visited page.
5. How to change a size of thumbnail image and foreground image size seprately. I can set both of them with me own sizes.
FIVE questions, it is very important for me.
PS. Ad. 1. I dont know if it is possible technically but I have to add another question if something wrong with first question:
4. On theme preview it shows two categories Lifestyle and Beauty.
How to make two or more categories looking like that with separate vertical columns. Where to define it?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Theme: MH Magazine] Adjusting Site WidthHello,
Strange thing I ve made child theme. I made an upgrade of original MH Lite. Nothing wrong wth that. Only CSS was lost in original theme.
I could make almost every change in chil-theme and put it as default?
Also, I can add Custom CSS and other plugins in child mode.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Theme: MH Magazine] Adjusting Site WidthPut it simply, I create ghost theme.
But now, when I got some changes in original theme, if I swap to child-theme: all the changess will be lost.
So I have to make any changes with child-theme, editing style.css, adding custom CSS code, and so on. I have to add all then plugins I have used before with original theme? There is an update of MH Magazine Lite to 1.9.6
There so many settings in ‘Child Theme Configurator’ but I dont know if I could use it by default. I dont know how to make it safety with tutorial. I know that you cant tell me, but I think ‘Child Theme Configurator’ could be the best way.

In reply to: [Theme: MH Magazine] Adjusting Site WidthLet’s try
1. Make major changes to my style.css using theme editor.
2. Make minor changes using Custom CSS plugin.
3. Make child theme using ‘Child Theme Configurator’ plugin
3. Swap to child themeMaking child theme means make a backup of major changes (style.css).
Correct?Child theme from ‘Child Theme Configurator’ contains:
– style.css
– functions.phpwhat about rtl.css – is it not needed?

In reply to: [Theme: MH Magazine] Adjusting Site WidthOh, too bad for me….
You have mentioned something about modern HD screens. Is there any table showing which fonts can be used for all types of screens and browsers?
I want to place plenty of thumbnails on the main site.
But what about child theme. Could I also make a regular backup of my theme? Or could I use plugin something like Custom CSS ?If you cant help for free, you could only answer Yes or No. Then I could try to google the exact point of dillema. Thank you ??
