In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetHi Stéphane,
Have you been able to reproduce this?
Below some relevant information from the MailPoet plugin (https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/221-customize-your-unsubscribe-page)
——–
Note: The custom Unsubscribe pages using the [mailpoet_page] shortcode won’t display as intended if viewed directly on your website’s frontend or from the Preview in the page editor — they will only display the shortcode in those cases. This occurs because the shortcode requires specific data from the URL parameters to render correctly (data that’s only present during the actual unsubscribe process).
To preview these custom pages, make sure to use the ‘Preview’ option provided in the MailPoet > Settings > Basics section (shown below). This method simulates the necessary conditions for the [mailpoet_page] shortcode to render as it would during the unsubscribe process. Alternatively, you can send yourself a test email, and test the Unsubscribe link from there.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetI have been testing again, and actually I found out that yes, it is a conflict with Falang ??
It can be seen here in this recording:
https://casamuseodonbosco.com/mailpoet-falang-conflict.mp4PS. I am aware of the information on this page https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/221-customize-your-unsubscribe-page as reflected below.
However, the problem also occurs when I send a test email and test the unsubscribe link from there.——–

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetHi Stéphane,
I thought it was the same problem as before, but it seems to be a different problem. I have opened a new topic with the MailPoet plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/mailpoet_page-shortcode-not-generating/#new-topic-0
Many thanks for your assistance!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetI added the code to the funtions.php of my theme, but it’s giving me an error on this line:
$link = $link . ‘?mailpoet_router=’.$_REQUEST[‘mailpoet_router’];

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetHi Stéphane, I hope the video helped to clarify. Any idea on what to do?

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetI have recorded a video to explain better what happens.
It is quite strange that with the same paramenters the shortcode [mailpoet_manage_subscription] on the subscription settings page works fine in all languages, but the shortcode [mailpoet_page] only gets generated in the main language.

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetAlso, I just realised that there still is a problem with the other languages. When I manually add &lang=es / &lang=fr etc. at the end, it works. But not when the /es/ or /fr/ is in the url. The question now is, how do I force the url from /es/ to &lang=es ?

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetYes!!! This is the solution, Stéphane.
With that parameter unchecked, the shortcode is generating fine with the standard page or a personalised page.
I′m very grateful for your testing and finding the answer to the problem. I hope this helps out other users as well.
Many thanks!!!- This reply was modified 1 year, 3 months ago by whitelily85.

In reply to: [Falang multilanguage for WordPress] Falang conflicting with MailPoetI tried adding &lang=fr (and es, nl, etc.) in the url in the preview, but then I get redirected to the homepage.
