In reply to: [Plugin: FLV Gallery] Help with usingI apologize for the first post I was getting your plugin mixed up with another that I had been testing.
The instructions from the readme are pretty straight forward however I am not being successful getting it to work.
I eliminated the url sections as I don’t need the thumb to link to another page.
The only thing that happens is I get a link for the filename and then it is made available for download.
My paths are correct for the video files and the thumbs but no success. HERE is the link to the page I am attempting to put the galleries into.
Any help getting this great little plugin running would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to get a family site up and running for relatives to come and see some home vids.
thx for the plugin Russell

In reply to: [Plugin: FLV Gallery] Help with usingNo one?
I am using Adobe Media Encoder to convert my MPEG vids to flash. I’ve tried several versions of .flv files and I get the same results.
If anyone can pls read my last post and check the page I am getting the error on that would be great.

In reply to: [Plugin: FLV Gallery] Help with usingLooks like a really nice plugin. Can’t seem to get it to work though. All I get on the page where I implemented it is a weird flashing void!
I’ve tried reinstalling it several times and even going to your website to get it and upload manually.
I’ve read through the readme file and faq etc and I see no other places I am supposed to do any setting adjustments. Simple set up a carrosel and add .flv videos to the folder where I point to. Sounds simple but doesn’t work.
I am trying to use it on THIS page and so you can see the problem.
Any suggestions appreciated.
THX

In reply to: Problems with thumbnail captionsFound a work around as the css didn’t solve the problem for me as others.
For anyone else with this problem what I did was go to Visual view of the page and highlight the Caption words, went to format and made them an H3 heading. After that I could finally edit the color as well, which I changed to black.
Problem solved for me.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin : ProPlayer] video gallery with Shadowboyx loading ProPlayerAny chance we can see this in action?
Link us up so we can see a finish product.
How are you creating the thumbnails? Just inserting a jpeg of a screenshot of the video?

In reply to: Problems with thumbnail captionsI am having the same problem. The theme I’m using has a light green text color for the body and it shows up the same on my Gallery captions as such no matter what I try. Light Green on White barely shows. I was able to change the font-weight to bold but that only helps very little.
Here’s what I have in the .css currently and is available to change:.wp-caption { border: 1px solid #ddd; text-align: center; background-color: #f3f3f3; padding-top: 4px ; margin: 10px; }
.wp-caption img { margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0 none; }
.wp-caption p.wp-caption-text { font-weight: bold; font-size: 11px; line-height: 17px; padding: 0 4px 5px; margin: 0; }I have tried adding in color: #000; to each of these id’s with no results, font-color doesn’t work either. You can see my font-weight addition there and that did work however. I also tried going into the html page editor and wrapping the text in question below my images with <font color=”black”>CAPTION HERE</font>, nothing.
Can’t seem to find a solution for this on the theme makers site or here so any help would be appreciated because apparently I’m not the only one having this issue. I’m going to keep trying to tweak the .css so if I find my own solution I will post it.
Thanks for any help on this issue!
