Did you find the root of this problem? It keeps happening on some of our multi-sites and there doesn’t seem to be a pattern that we can identify.

I have not been able to find any information on this issue.

The solution that we found is Camptix (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/camptix/) with a little modification to create a user for each person that signs up, so that they can login and be presented with a profile form, which we extend with some custom fields to find out about their requirements for the conference.

It is interesting that this is a pretty standard requirement for most conferences but there doesn’t seem to be a plugin that actually does it. Event Espresso has an add-on for multiple event booking, which is better than nothing, but that is really designed for booking several separate events at the same time rather than options within a parent event,

Sorry Andrew, I’m simply highlighting that chufang is not the only one with this problem. No point creating another thread for the same issue when there is nothing specific that differs.

Thanks Mika. I emailed plugins AT www.ads-software.com and they found the problem. In my file name banner-772×250.jpg, the character for x was in fact a multiply symbol and not the letter x. So the file name looked correct but was in fact incorrect.

That’s what you get for copying and pasting the file name off a blog ??

We seem to be having the same problem on our plugin page here.

Is there someone we can ask to check if it is a caching issue?
