thank you, I understand you have to analyze and ensure an update works for everyone. I assure you thousands of folks who use forminator forms with Google ads will absolutely need to use “Enhanced Conversion Tracking” and via Google Tag Manager we need the phone number data hashed and in the E.164 format for userData so that we can track Google ad performance properly. Google is requiring this due to more strict rules with how marketers can use cookie data etc (privacy is more strict, so Google has created the Enhanced Conversion Tracking. Thousands of your users won’t be able to use Forminator out of the box with Google ads and Google Tag Manager if you don’t adjust the main plugin at some point.
it worked nicely to remove the spaces thank you. That said, I wish there were more formatting options built in because now my client only does business in United States and their website visitors have to add +1 to their phone number. Basically having to use the international format. I don’t like this. I just want the customer/prospects to be able to type a normal USA phone number in the phone field and the data on the backend would format automatically in E.164. The only reason is because of Google ads needing it. So perhaps in a very soon future update you can have an option in the phone field to connect Google ads Enhanced Conversion to E.164 formatted phone number automatically so my USA clients don’t have to use international formatted phone validation????

The code worked great! Thank you! One styling issue, not pertaining to the code you provided here, but when you use the international version the cursor goes behind the flags and it’s hard to see it when you type the number. It’s doing it across two of my websites so I know it’s not my themes. Please fix this. Also, I’m using CSS display none to hide the flag selection because my clients don’t do business internationally. However, I had to select to use the international version to get the + plus sign to show up in the output of the phone number in GTM and even in the notification emails. I really wish there was more emphasis placed on these things especially with userData collection being more strict and having to deal with Google Ads and third party sites needing E.164 formatted data. You can see my dilemna here with having to use the international version just to get the + plus sign and then it adds the “flags” which I don’t want to show. And the CSS needs adjusted because the cursor gets overlapped by the flags.
You can see how the flags overlap the cursor….Ok I tried the international option for formatting and it brings it into Google Tag Manager with the + plus symbol but it included the spaces! Like this: +1 555 666 7777
What format removes the spaces? and just has it formatted like this: +15556667777- This reply was modified 10 months, 1 week ago by Why Not Advertising, LLC. Reason: typo
No, I have haven’t tried international format as I thought that wasn’t relevant to U.S. for some reason. I will give this a try and run another test in GTM to see if it works.

In reply to: [ACF Post-2-Post] Bi-Directional Relationships in ACF Pro Now native in 6.2Thank you for breaking it down. I do think I’ll just keep the plugin installed then. It sounds like that might be a similar use case to how I’m using it. Thank you for keeping up with your plugin and making life easier for everyone.

In reply to: [ACF Post-2-Post] Bi-Directional Relationships in ACF Pro Now native in 6.2Hi John,
Thanks for writing back so quickly, it’s much appreciated.
Sounds important, I really don’t know if I need it or not. I’d need to see a visual example of it, is there a way you can look at my setup and tell me? I’d pay for your time of course. This is my biggest client and I just want to make sure I keep things running smoothly.
I’m happy to supply a temporary login privately somehow if you have an email?
Thank you,
KennyTo be clear, I don’t need the form to automatically fill the drop down with dynamic community names I would manually add the drop down select Community name options to the form. I just want the form to auto-select an option relevant to each community page.
Thanks Ernest! I look forward to learning more tomorrow. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Maybe I found something to help everyone else!
Done, and it’s still doing the same thing. This time I tried “1998 Jeep Wrangler” and still get no results even though there is a post with the data present in the database. Here’s the Paste.ee link with Debug code: https://paste.ee/p/xpnP2
I just unchecked all custom fields option and cleared browser cache and checked and it’s still doing the same thing only searching the 3 word phrases with year, make model typed in that order returns “no results”
Do the custom fields added need to be the ones with the underscore or without in settings? _year instead of just year?? I see the underscore versions in the selectable list in settings, I wasn’t sure if those needed to be used instead???
They are all 3 standard ACF text fields
I have the option checked to “search all custom fields.”
Also go ahead and try “2012 Hyundai Accent”
It will return “no results”
People search by year, make and model in that order. Not reverse as you’ve shared.
Hi Ernest,
I tried turning off Exact Match and have managed to get the search function to work but it’s still only allowing two words to be searchable when I type any third character or word it queries “no results” even though I have the exact data stored as ACF fields.
I’m still working on this website and this hasn’t been resolved. I’m sorry for the long delay but nothing you’ve shared so far works to have the info pre-populate the Forminator Drop down menu with the Custom Post Type Titles for Models.
