In reply to: [Block Specific Spam Woo Orders] BEST & EASIEST PLUGIN TO BLOCK SPAM ORDERSThanks again for the review @cacabe – just to confirm here that I’ve updated the support ensuring it’s tested with the latest releases.
Hi @cacabe
Sure—I still use this plugin—and if necessary I will update it; so far nothing has required any code updates.
However, for peace of mind, I’ve just committed a new version of the plugin confirming it’s tested and working fine with the latest releases.
Hope that helps,
AlexNo—that message wouldn’t be provided by this plugin.
I’ve had a quick google and the only thing I can find is possibly this other plugin, is it installed?
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/cart66-lite/+1 – I too am seeing an unlikely number of “pending payment” orders lately.
@serafinnyc – this plugin simply stops those very specific orders.
We’re still not sure why someone created a bot that (tries to) places orders in such a simple yet annoying way.. but they did, so this plugin stops it.Hi Awin Support,
Any updates here please?

In reply to: [Accept Stripe Payments] Mobile Chrome – Autofill security issueHi @mbrsolution — it’s just happening on mobile chrome, seems to work fine on safari/Firefox.
Hi @volkerforster – thanks for your feedback, I have now added a brief description to the plugin:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/block-specific-spam-woo-orders/In summary; you simply install and activate the plugin, it will then extend WooCommerce’s checkout validation, checking if the order is using the known spammer’s details—if so, it simply rejects that order, stopping the attack. There are no side effects, it’s currently a fairly simple plugin that is doing 1 specific task.

In reply to: [Block Specific Spam Woo Orders] Updating Woo MessageYes I added that feature, it’s referred to as a “changelog”.
You can see the changelog here:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/block-specific-spam-woo-orders/#developers
And also in the update plugins area of your WordPress dashboard as you normally would too.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Block Specific Spam Woo Orders] Updating Woo MessageHi @li-an,
I’ve now added a changelog.
However the actual plugin code hasn’t changed at all in the last release, or this current one adding changelog support.I simply added a line of text that told the systems/Wordpress that the plugin is indeed compatible with WooCommerce.
You can see the changes here:

In reply to: [Block Specific Spam Woo Orders] Updating Woo MessageIt was already compatible, I’ve now made it officially compatible so that error/warning no longer shows.
Hope that helps,
