Do you have any JavaScript errors in the JS console? Does it happen in all browsers? It is quite probable that there are JavaScript errors that prevent CKEditor from loading on your page.

Did you install version 4.0 and cleared browser cache?

If the version 4.0 does not work for you, please provide a detailed information about the issue that you’re experiencing.

Not sure what exactly do you mean, but try these things in Basic settings (wp-admin/admin.php?page=ckeditor_basic_options):
– set the skin to Moono
– set Editor toolbar to WordPressFull

I just installed this plugin and it looks like it works (a button appeared inside the Link dialog). Am I missing something?

This plugin does not define any new toolbar button.

In such case always make sure to check the JavaScript error console in your browser. Most of the time there is a very helpful error message reported, which helps a lot in resolving this kind of issues.

Download the latest version (4.0) and let me know if the issue persists.

Fixed in 4.0. By default CKEditor now shows a nice style for blockquote button which makes this element more recognizable in the editing area.

@sircon Norge AS – check Basic settings, select skin Kama or Moono and click “Update Options” button at the bottom. Clear the cache. Let me know if that helped.

@edzeppelin – did you use your old ckeditor.config.js? If yes, then you need to use the new file in order to have the WordPressFull defined in a new “V4” way. And then clear browser cache.

(The WordPressFull toolbar is now defined by config.toolbarGroups + config.WordpressFull_removeButtons – this is the preferred way to have the buttons from extra plugins injected into CKEditor automatically)

@darkidan, @bollika – can you check the extension on a sample new installation of WordPress?

@curraman – thanks for reporting the problem. To have it working immediately, add in ckeditor.config.js:

config.extraPlugins += (config.extraPlugins ? ',scayt,wsc' : 'scayt,wsc' );

Humm “not working” does not say much. Make sure you have cleared browser cache.

Can you check in Firebug what errors do you have?
Is it possible that you had selected a skin that is no longer available (e.g. “v2” or “office”?)

Yep, please continue in that thread. A link to version 4.0RC has been posted there. Testers are more than welcome!
