Please check the first beta version of the CKEditor for WordPress plugin. There is a special plugin that adds a support for NextGEN Gallery.

A new dedicated CKEditor plugin for WordPress is now available:

It was initially based on the Dean’s FCKeditor For WordPress plugin, but while coding it we completely rewrote id and added more functionalities, dedicated plugins for CKEditor as well as more configuration options.
